Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty

Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty

Happy  rainy Thursday everyone.  Good day to stay in curl up and read a good book.  I re-reading Ted Dekker’s Trilogy Books, don’t know why he calls them that when there are four; Black, Red, White, Green.  If you love mystery and time travel, you will love these.  He has written many books an in many of them he will refer back to the character in this book about something.  What good books are you reading?

My card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set, and Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set.

These are my challenges for this card:

Allsorts Challenge

Beautiful Blossoms

i started with a Basic Black card stock card base, adding a Very Vanilla cardstock layer, then a Basic Black cardstock layer, and lastly, another layer of Very Vanilla cardstock die cut using the largest die from Perennial Postage Dies.

I stamped the flowers from Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set in Memento Black ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Using the masks that come with the stamp set if you order the bundle, I colored the flowers using Bubble Bath and Berry Burst ink pads and Blending Brushes. To color the flowers I used Shaded Spruce ink and a Blending Brush.  After coloring, I used the matching die from Perennial Postage Dies to die cut the flowers.  I, also, die cut a few extra leaves from Shaded Spruce cardstock.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and matted on a piece of Basic Black cardstock.  The flowers are arranged on the Very Vanilla panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Several sequins from Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped around the card front along with gems from Tinsel Gems Four Pack.  The greeting is popped over the flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals with a Linen bow made using Linen Thread is behind the  greeting.  The additional die cut leaves are placed around the flowers adhering with glue.

The inside sentiment panel  has the same flowers as the card front and envelope flap, stamped in Bubble Bath ink.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink over the middle of the flowers.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets the same flowers as the card front but they are not colored only stamped in Bubble Bath ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that you get to pre-order before a new catalog  launches so you are able to show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.
