Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Thinking of You Card

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Thinking of You Card

Here I am today sharing a card from the same stamp set I used in the last post, Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow and a die from the Meadow Dies, but it just seemed to fit the design for today.

The design for my card today is the Global Design Project Challenge for this week — CASE the designer -Ann Alexander.

One of the challenges I am entering is the Krafty Chicks Challenge — their theme for this challenge is ALL OCCASIONS

Another challenge I am entering is the Can You Handle The Pressure – this challenge is always embossing sometimes with a twist.

The inks I used are two of the new In Colors for the 2022-2024 year.  Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky are the two I used along with Old Olive.  For now, I believe Orchid Oasis is my new favorite.  I used the Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the Pearl Basic Jewels on the card front.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base, it seems I use Basic White as my card base often.  A panel Sun Prints DSP, available May 3 when purchasing can begin from the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.  I embossed this panel using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder as I did the Basic White panel used for the art panel.

Flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White card stock, fussy cut then colored using Blending Brushes and Orchid Oasis and Old Olive ink. Greenery is cropped using dies from the Meadow Dies, a few of the greenery, but they may be white, are from my bowl of extras leftover from previous cards. These are arranged then adhered or popped using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The greeting is stamped in Orchid Oasis ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, and popped over a strip of Basic White card stock colored using a Blending Brush and Orchid Oasis ink. It is then popped over the flowers.  Pearl Basic Jewels are colored using an Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blends Marker and popped on the card front.

A panel of Basic White has Stary Sky and Old Olive ink brushed on the right side and a flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set stamped over it in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  Two squares of the Sun Print DSP are cut and applied to each corner of the panel. The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Sun Prints DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.

Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Penciled Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Penciled Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is created using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Meadow Dies, the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, a die from the Horizon Dies, Basic Black and White card stock, and Perfectly Penciled DSP.The color inspiration for this challenge today is with the Inspire. Create Challenge.  Their theme for this challenge is Basic Black, Basic White, and a FREE CHOICE. I chose So Saffron as my free choice, giving the card a pop of yellow.

I am also entering the CAS on Friday challenge for the design of my card.

My card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of Basic Black card stock embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and applied to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  This becomes the background panel for the art piece.

A panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP is cut and matted on a panel of Basic White card stock, then adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A short length of Hues of Happiness DSP is cut and flagged on each end. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White card stock, then cropped using a die from the Meadow Dies. The greeting is adhered to the Hues of Happiness DSP and popped over the art piece. A flower is cropped from Basic White card stock using a die from the Meadow Dies. Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped in the center of each flower.  Matted Black Dots are popped on the card also.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! In Your Words stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. The panel is matted on a piece of Basic Black card stock and a piece of Perfectly Penciled DSP is fussy cut and adhered to the bottom of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is created using the Perfectly Penciled DSP from the upcoming 2022-2023 catalog, Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Special Moments stamp set.

My challenge today is with the Alphabet Challenge — Their theme for this challenge is B for Blooms.

I am also joining the Creative Creases Challenge since my card is a fun fold.

My card is a faux step card and so easy.  There is no cutting and measuring where to cut where and score to create the steps.  The only scoring is the score for the card fold and then the two scores for the step fold.  You can see how the step is created by the photo.

For the card base start with a panel of Basic White card stock 4-1/4″ x 9″. Score at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, and 5-3/4″.  Fold the 1-1/4″ score line as a mountain fold and the 2-1/2″ as a valley fold.  Fold at the 5-3/4″ line and you have your card base.  One of the flowers from the Perfectly Penciled DSP is colored using a Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker, fussy cut and popped on the front panel using Mini Stampin’.   Dimensionals.

The next step is to finish the inside panel so it is easier to create.  The Basic White card stock panel is matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Special Moments stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Black ink on the panel.  Two flowers, I like to think of them as poppies are fussy cut, one is colored using a Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker.  Both are adhered to the page using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The cuts for the DSP used on the card can be found at the end of this post.  Each piece of the Perfectly Penciled DSP is matted on Basic Black card stock before being adhered to the card base.  The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts stamp set.  It is cropped using a die from the All That Dies that goes with the Stampin’ Up! He’s the Man Suite or Bundle from the upcoming 2022-2023 catalog.  Matte Black Dots are popped around the card front.  The DSP is two different patterns of the Perfectly Penciled DSP.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.

Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove On The Horizion With Much Love

Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove On The Horizion With Much Love

The card I am sharing today is created using the beautiful New Horizon DSP, (I love, love this DSP) along with the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set, Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon, Stampin’ Up! Through It Together and finally the horses from a Stampin’ Up! long-retired set Let It Ride.  You know there are just certain sets that will always stay with you.

My design for the card I am sharing today is inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week.

The card base is Evening Evergreen card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Timbers 3-D Embossing Folder.  It is adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of New Horizon DSP is trimmed to the size needed for the card front, images from the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set are stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on the panel.  The birds are from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon stamp set and are stamped in Night of Navy ink.

The pine trees stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on the right side are from the Stampin’ Up! Let It Ride stamp set is long retired, but as I stated earlier there are some stamp sets you can’t part with or that is the case with me.  The horses are from the same set and are stamped in Soft Suede ink then colored using a Watercolor Pencil and smoothed out using a Blender Pen.  Pebbles Enamel Shapes are made to look like rocks lining the stream and a pile of rocks in the stream.

A strip of the New Horizon DSP is stamped with trees from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink along with the flowers at the bottom of the Basic White panel.  Birds are stamped in Night of Navy ink across the top of the Basic White panel and into the New Horizon DSP strip.  A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink also.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of New Horizon DSP applied to the envelope flap.  The panel on the envelope flap is the top portion of the panel used on the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow In My Thoughts

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow In My Thoughts

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Stamp Set, Meadow Dies, Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, and numerous other little elements.

My challenge for today is with Use Your Stuff Challenge.  The theme is Spring/Easter.

My card is a fun fold for today and is CASed from Mary Deatherage’s video yesterday.  I loved the way the fun fold was done, so easy.  Thank you, Mary.  I’m sure the design of the card front is a CAS of one I saw on Pinterest or a video I watched.  I watch so many videos late, late nights, that it’s hard to remember where they belong.  I started with a Night of Navy card stock base.

On a panel of Basic White card stock, I stamped in Balmy Blue ink stamping off once, the dot flourish using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream stamp set. I, also, stamped the words from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set in Balmy Blue ink across the top of the panel.  I then embossed the panel using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered this to a mat of Basic White card stock also.

These are the flowers and stem you need to crop using the Meadow Dies and the color of each card stock or ink color used.  Crop two of the stems that look like leaves of a plant. Crop 3 of the large flowers from Basic White card stock, using  Blending Brushes, color the flower with Night of Navy ink, and the stems of the flower using Old Olive ink.

Crop the butterfly using a die from the Brilliant Wings Dies.  Color half of the butterfly using Night of Navy ink and the other half using Night of Navy ink.  I colored a doily, I am sure long retired, using Night of Navy ink and a Blending Brush.  The centers of the flowers are cropped from a scrap of Night of Navy card stock.

The greeting is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, and popped on the card front.  Arrange the flowers and leaves over and under the doily, adhere using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White card stock, color around the edges making it look like a shadow.  Stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink on the upper portion of the panel. On the lower portion, adhere a flower and a butterfly.  Add two Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the sentiment panel is finished.  Adhere the panel to the back of the card base.  It goes on the back as this is a fun fold and the card can not be opened as it usually is opened.

Cut a 3-1/4″ x 4″ panel of Night of Navy card stock. Score on the short side at 3/8″ on both sides of the short end. Score at 1-3/8″ which will be between the two 3/8″ scorelines.  Fold and score each of the 3/8″ ends. Fold & score the 1-5/8″ line making it a mountain fold.  Apply Tear & Tape to each 3/8″ score. Remove the covering from one of the sides with Tear & Tape and adhere as close as possible to the inside edge of the card base at the bottom.  Remove the other covering on the other side and close the card carefully, adhering this side to the card.  See diagram as to where the tent is.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Neutral 6″ x 6″  DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.

Thank you for stopping by today.
