Stampin’ Up! Everlasting Beauty — Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Everlasting Beauty — Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is one created using Stampin’ Up! Everlasting Beauty stamp set.  I also used the Splatter Embossing Folder from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders.

I am entering the https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2023/06/nbus-challenge-51.html  Challenge

I started with a Basic White card stock card base, adding a layer of Basic Black card stock adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the largest flower from Stampin’ Up! Everlasting Beauty stamp set in Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock panel.  I colored the flower using Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.   I adhered the art piece over the Basic Black panel and wrapped two lengths of Natural Wavy Trim around the Basic White piece using Glue Dots before adhering. I popped three pearls from 2022-2024 In Color Pearls around the card front.

I stamped a bunch of flowers from Stampin’ Up! Everlasting Beauty stamp set in Memento Black ink and colored using Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The Basic White panel is matted on a Basic Black card stock panel then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White envelope gets a bunch of flowers from Stampin’ Up! Everlasting Beauty stamp set stamped on the envelope flap in Memento Black ink. It is colored using Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

DAINTY DELIGHT W/HAPPY HEDGEHOG FENCE EASEL FUN FOLD FOR THE SU DEMOS FUN FOLDS BLOG HOP

DAINTY DELIGHT W/HAPPY HEDGEHOG FENCE EASEL FUN FOLD FOR THE SU DEMOS FUN FOLDS BLOG HOP

Welcome to our Blog Hop!

We have a great lineup of talented crafters for you today, who enjoy creating fun folds.  If you love fun folds, I am hoping you find inspiration and enjoyment so much that you will be inspired to join us next time.  You are in for a treat with all the talented demonstrators participating. You can find that list   located at the end of the post about my card creation.

The card I am sharing today for our Blog Hop is created using Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set and Dies and greeting and sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set.  An embossing folder from Basic 3D Embossing Folders.

I cut a piece of Basic White card stock 5-1/2″ x 11″.  I scored at 2-3/4″ and 7″.  The other marking in the above diagram are pencil markings instead of hard scoring.  You should watch Terri Gaines video. Click on her name and it will take you to her PDF and video. She gives great instruction about creating the fence.  She also gives a great tip about keeping the fence post even.  The 2-3/4″ is a mountain fold and the 7″ is a valley fold.

To create the fence and fence post, I cut (6) strips of card stock 1/2″ x 2-1/2″ for the post, each post gets 2 pieces and (3) fence rails 1/2″ x 5-1/2″.  I die cut daisies from Daffodil Delight card stock using the daisy dies from Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Dies.  The vine is another die from the same set and is die cut in Garden Green and Granny Apple Green card stock.    The bird and butterfly are from Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehog stamp set.  They are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, and Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends Markers. Die cut (3) pieces of grass from Garden Green card stock using a die from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set.

One piece of the grass goes on the panel that has the easel stopper.  Another piece goes on the bottom of the card so when the card is closed grass will show through the fence.  The last piece is adhered to upper section of the easel panel so grass shows through the fence.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock scrap, matted on a small piece of Garden Green card stock, and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Daisies are popped around the sentiment.

A Basic White envelope gets a greeting and greenery from Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set stamped on the envelope flap in Garden Green ink.

Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way — Thanks

Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way — Thanks

I get the honor of being a guest designer for the Creative Creases Challenge for this challenge.  I hope you will have the time to enter this challenge.  To enter you can click on the link or the logo.

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way stamp set.  This card is a faux step card.

I am entering the NBUS Challenge as I have never used this stamp set before.  It is one of the stamp sets I bought just before the 2023 Mini Catalog ended.

Following is the pieces you need to cut to create the card.

  • Orchid Oasis card stock
    • card base — 4-1/4′ x 10″  Score at 1″ and 2″ for the small step, then score 4-1/4″
    • center step — 3″ x 8-1/2″ score at 5-1/2″
  • Basic White card stock
    • background mat — 4″ x 4-1/8″
    • mat center panel — 2-7/8″ x 5-1/4″
    • inside panel — 3-7/8″ x 4″
    • fireflies —  4″ x 4″
  • Stargazing Designer Series Paper
    • background — 3-7/8″ x 4″
    • center panel — 2-3/4″ x 5-1/8″
  • Bronze Foil
    • lantern — 3″ x 3-3/4″

It is easier to put the mat and designer series paper on the card if you adhere while it is flat.  I stamped fireflies in Orchid Oasis ink and Crush Curry ink.  I then die cut the fireflies using a die from Lighting The Way Dies.  I die cut the lantern from a piece of Bronze Foil using the lantern die from Lighting The Way Dies.  I centered the front center piece adhering to the bottom using Tear & Tape, then adhered the back flap using Tear & Tape.

I stamped the sentiment in Orchid Oasis ink on a Basic White card stock panel.  I also stamped a firefly and swish in Orchid Oasis ink.  I stamped the  lighting tail in Crush Curry ink.  I adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

This is a side view of the card.

A Basic White envelope get a panel of the Stargazing Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions

Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions

This is not the kind of card you are happy to share, but that time does come around whether we want it to or not.  Recently I have three friends who lost a loved one.  This simple and very easy card is created using Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions stamp set for the greeting and sentiment.  This is an all white card except for a brush of Balmy Blue ink on the butterfly wings and the swish of it behind the butterfly.

My card for today is inspired by the sketch design of Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base.  I cut another panel of Basic White and cut to mat the challenge sketch.

I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions stamp set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the middle piece of the panel I cut in three pieces.  A swish of Balmy Blue ink is brushed on the middle section using Balmy Blue ink and a Blending Brush. After stamping the greeting the three pieces is embossed using Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. The top and bottom sections are adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The middle section is popped on the middle of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A butterfly from my stash of butterfly is brushed on the wings with Balmy Blue ink using a Blending Brush.  It is popped over the Balmy Blue swish using a Stampin’ Dimensional.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black in on a Basic White panel.  Using a butterfly from my stash I used Balmy Blue ink and a Blending Brush to stencil the butterfly in the corner of the sentiment panel.

A Basic White envelope get butterflies stenciled in Balmy Blue ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.
