Stampin’ Up! Peace To You

It is good to be able to blog again. I feel I have been unable to do so for so long.

The card I am sharing is created using Stampin’ Up! Peace To You stamp set, Stitched Rectangle Dies, and Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. I used three different sizes of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to create the card. After all the pieces were cut and adhered together, I embossed using the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. A Red Rhinestone is popped in the middle of the star. The greeting is stamped in Starry Sky ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, and popped on the card front. This card is a CAS of one I made earlier this year that I had CASed from Mary Deatherage originally. You can watch her video for great instructions on making.

I am entering the Creative Creases Challenge as I have a simple fun fold that I love making. It makes for displaying your card so easy.

This is the back of the card. The sentiment is stamped in Starry Sky ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Snowflakes are also stamped in Starry Sky ink in the corners of the panel.

To create the bridge that makes the card stand up, cut a piece of Starry Sky card stock 3-1/4″ x 4″. Score from the 3-1/4″ end at 3/8″ on both sides. Score at 1-5/8″ which will be the middle of the piece. I used Tear & Tape to apply to the 3/8″ scored section and adhere to one side of the card on the inside. The scored section goes up.

I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasion stamp set in Starry Sky ink on my Basic White envelope flap. I also stamp snowflakes.

Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly with Peaceful Deer

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer stamp set and Boughs of Holly Designer Series.

I am entering my card in the Creative Creases Challenge as it is a fun fold and their theme is always a fun fold.

Cut Evening Evergreen cardstock: 11″ x 4-1/4″ then score at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
Fold cardstock in half, and then at the first score line, fold the top back onto itself. This will give you the Z in your Z-Fold Card!
Cut White Glimmer paper for mats 2-1/2′ x 4 and 4-18″ x 5-3/8″
Cut Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper 2-1/4′ x 3-3/4″ and 5-1/4″ x 4″

Adhere all these to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Crop circles from Basic White, Real Red, and Evening Evergreen card stock. Adhere the Basic White circle to the Real Red and Evening Evergreen card stock. Fussy cut poinsettias from a piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper. Crop leaves and sprigs from Evening Evergreen card stock, a Gold Foil sheet, and White Glimmer Paper using dies from the Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets Bundle.

On a scrap of Evening Evergreen card stock stamp the Merry Christmas greeting from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer in Versa Mark ink and sprinkle Gold Embossing Powder over it and heat embossed using a heat tool. Arrange all the poinsettias, leaves and springs around the circle adhering with either Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets Celebrate

This stamp set and Designer Series Paper make the prettiest cards. The card I am sharing today is made using these two items along with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder.

I am entering the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge.

The card base is Basic White card stock with an Evening Evergreen card stock mat. A piece of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and adhered over the Evening Evergreen panel.

1/2″ strips are cut and the above design is created. Flowers from a sheet of the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper are fussy cut and popped over the strips using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Crumb Cake Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack is colored using an Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Blends Marker. It is looped around twice and placed under the greeting that has been stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock.

A sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and matted on a piece of Evening Evergreen card stock. It is then adhered to the card base.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Fitting Florets Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set, Deckled Rectangle Dies, and Timber 3D Embossing Folder.

I am joining the Try Stamping On Tuesday challenge for today.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base, adding a layer of Basic White card stock embossed using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a piece of Soft Succulent card stock as a mat for the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper. I colored the berries on the Designer Series Paper using a Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker. I then adhered the piece to the Soft Succulent card stock mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The piece is then popped over the Timber 3D Embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped in the upper left corner.

A piece of Basic White card stock is cropped using a die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies. Since there is not a die for the size I needed, I cropped the piece a second time to make the size I needed. I stamped in Evening Evergreen ink a greeting from Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set. I fussy cut leaves and berries from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper and popped them on the greeting piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the greeting piece over the corner of the Fitting Florets Designer Series panel. I popped three of the berries at the top of the greeting panel to give the appearance of berries hanging over.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. A spray of leaves and berries is fussy cut and adhered to the corner using Multipurpose Glue.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Country Wreath Merry Christmas

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Country Wreath Dies, Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.

I am entering the Krafty Chicks Challenge — their theme this week is All Occasions.

This is a Faux Step Fold Card. It is much easier to make than a regular step card. I started with a 4-1/4″ x 11″ piece of Real Red card stock. I scored the piece at 1′, 2″, and 6-1/2″. The 1″ score line is a mountain fold, the 2″ score line is a valley, and the 6-1/2″ score line is a mountain fold. This creates the step that the next piece will be adhered to. I cut a piece of Soft Suede card stock 2-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 3″. I embossed this piece using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.

I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock 2″ x 5-1/4″ and embossed it using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. I cut a 1-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of a card base from a leftover Paper Pumpkin. I cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Real Red card stock embossing it using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. After embossing I cut a 1″ piece from the embossed piece. This will go on the 1″ step. I then adhered all the embossed pieces except the 1″ piece to the card bases. I find it easier to lay the card base out flat when attaching other card stock or designer series paper. Then, I adhered the Soft Suede card stock piece to the Real Red card stock base adhering the Soft Suede piece to the first step. The Real Red card stock Brick & Mortar embossed piece adheres over the Soft Suede on the first step. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, then adhered over the 1″ Brick & Mortar embossed piece.

I cropped two wreaths from Stampin’ Up! Country Wreath Dies, one from Mossy Meadow card stock, the other from Old Olive card stock. The two wreaths are adhered together using little dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then popped the wreath over the stripped gold piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I popped Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the wreath. Using the bow die from Stampin’ Up! Country Wreath Dies, I cropped a bow from a small piece of Distress Gold Specialty Paper. It is popped on the wreath using a Glue Dot.

I stamped Merry Christmas on the flap of my gold-trimmed Basic White envelope.
