Stampin’ Up! All The Best

Stampin’ Up! All The Best

The card I am sharing today is an alternative of the December 2023 Paper Pumpkin as I used elements from it to create this card along with a die from Garden Meadow Dies.  Or may be I should say I used the negative portion, (but it could be the other way around) of the die cut to create the frame for this card.  The December Paper Pumpkin was called All The Best.  It was a great kit to receive, it makes for beautiful cards that are so Springy and we need Springy feeling to make us feel more cheerful.

I am joining the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge for this card.

I am also joining the Just Add Ink Challenge for this card.

  1. Start with a Balmy Blue cardstock card base.
  2. Cut a card base from the Kit into two pieces, this will give you the background panel.
  3. Stamp a greeting on the background panel using Balmy Blue ink or a darker blue, maybe Misty Moonlight ink.
  4. Adhere the panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or adhesive of choice
  5. Add the Basic White negative portion of the die cut to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Using dandelions from the Kit, adhere them along the bottom of the Basic White frame using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  7. Pop three 2022-2024 In Color Pearls around the card front.
  8. On a panel of Basic White card stock stamp in Balmy Blue ink or a darker ink a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprises stamp set.
  9. Stamp dandelions in Crush Curry and Old Olive ink on the sentiment panel using a stamp from the Paper Pumpkin All The Best stamps.

One of the envelopes from the kit is used as the envelope for this card. The envelope has a dandelion of the front and dandelions blowing against a blue sky for the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine

Good afternoon from bleak outside with the clouds and dampness that seems to get to your bones if you go outside.  It looks like rain any minute — again!  It has rained the weekend away.  We did add a bit of cheer by getting out yesterday in spite of the rain.  I dislike have to use an umbrella, so like the song I let keep raindrops falling on my head  instead of having to contend with an umbrella.

My card today is a bright and cheery one for a friend that has helped me so much in the last six months.  Sometimes you find out who is really a friend when the need arise. I was a bit surprised to say the least.  I used Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set along with Softly Sophisticated 3 D Embossing Folder and Most Adored Designer Series Paper.  The bee in this stamp set is very appropriate for this person.

I am joining the Festifriday Challenge.  I choose red, purple, Love sentiment, Hearts as my theme.

I am also joining the Krafty Chicks Challenge for this card.

  1. Start with a card base of Basic White cardstock.
  2. Cut a piece of Basic White card stock, the same size as the card front, embossing using Softly Sophisticated 3 D Embossing Folder.
  3. Add the embossed panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or adhesive of your choice
  4. Cut a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock as a mat for the Most Adored Designer Series Paper with the heart pattern.
  5. Adhere the two together using adhesive of your choice.
  6. Using Stylish Shapes Dies, die cut circle from Gorgeous Grape, Real Red, and Basic White card stock.
  7. Stamp the BEE image from Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set. Use Crushed Curry ink and Memento Black ink as the colors.  If you would like your bee another color you can choose  colors of your choice.
  8.  Stamp the wings in Smoky Slate ink lightly brushing the wings with a Blending Brush, using Balmy Blue ink.
  9.  Die cut the wings for the BEE image, using the winds die.
  10. Stamp a greeting from the same stamp set in Gorgeous Grape and Real Red ink.  I stamped one in Gorgeous Grape and masked the other so I would only get the word SWEET in Real Red ink.
  11. Cut the word apart, see photo above, using paper snips.
  12. Die cut the word LOVE from the current Paper Pumpkin Dies. Die cut three extra adhering all four together.  Die cut the word YOU, using alphabet dies.
  13. Arrange all the elements onto the Basic White circle that is popped on the center of the Real Red circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  14. On a panel of Basic White cardstock stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set in Real Red ink.  Stamp near the right edge.
  15. Stamp the three hearts from Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Real Red ink at the corner of the sentiment.
  16. Adhere the piece of Most Adored Designer Series Paper to a Gorgeous Grape mat, adhering to the left side of the sentiment panel.
  17. A Basic White medium envelope gets a piece of Most Adored Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprises

Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprises

The card today is another happy, cheery card.  I love red and purple together.  I used Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprises stamp set, as you can see.  I also used Softly Sophisticated 3 D Embossing Folder and Stylish Shapes Dies.  I’ve made this fun fold before, but this time it seemed so much easier.  Maybe it’s because I made it before.

These are the challenges for this card.

Creative Creases Challenge

Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge

All the card cut are at the end of this post.  You may want to do all the cutting and die cutting before starting the putting together process.  Most people probably do that, but many cut as they go, I find it easier to cut, stamp, and die cut all pieces before putting together.  You can see from the photo how the pieces on the card front are layered.

A panel of Basic White is embossed using Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder along with the heart.  The panel is adhered to the card base, then the Real Read, Gorgeous Grape, and Basic White cardstock pieces are adhered to the embossed panel.  The Most Adored Designer Series Paper heart is popped in the middle the Basic White piece.  The heart has three other die cut heart adhered to it to give it dimension, so dimensionals to not have to be used.

After you have scored the 5″ x 8″ piece of Basic White cardstock at 2″, 4″, 6″    center a die of your choice to create the opening for the heart.  I used the largest circle die from Stylish Shapes to create mine.  Adhere the Gorgeous Grape panels to the edge of each side of the card base.  Then adhere the designer series paper over the Gorgeous Grape cardstock panels.  Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprise stamp set in Real Red ink on the two Basic White hearts.  Take a length of twine and adhered between the two hearts.  Adhere the heart in the opening of the circle by attaching the string to the back of the Basic White panel.  You can see in the photo how the heart hangs.

Adhere the Fun Fold panel to the right and left side of the card base.  Line the  first score line and the last score line with the edge of the Gorgeous Grape pieces. You can see in the photo. Adhere your fussy cut bees with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a piece of Most Adored Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty

Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty

Happy  rainy Thursday everyone.  Good day to stay in curl up and read a good book.  I re-reading Ted Dekker’s Trilogy Books, don’t know why he calls them that when there are four; Black, Red, White, Green.  If you love mystery and time travel, you will love these.  He has written many books an in many of them he will refer back to the character in this book about something.  What good books are you reading?

My card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set, and Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set.

These are my challenges for this card:

Allsorts Challenge

Beautiful Blossoms

i started with a Basic Black card stock card base, adding a Very Vanilla cardstock layer, then a Basic Black cardstock layer, and lastly, another layer of Very Vanilla cardstock die cut using the largest die from Perennial Postage Dies.

I stamped the flowers from Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set in Memento Black ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Using the masks that come with the stamp set if you order the bundle, I colored the flowers using Bubble Bath and Berry Burst ink pads and Blending Brushes. To color the flowers I used Shaded Spruce ink and a Blending Brush.  After coloring, I used the matching die from Perennial Postage Dies to die cut the flowers.  I, also, die cut a few extra leaves from Shaded Spruce cardstock.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and matted on a piece of Basic Black cardstock.  The flowers are arranged on the Very Vanilla panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Several sequins from Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped around the card front along with gems from Tinsel Gems Four Pack.  The greeting is popped over the flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals with a Linen bow made using Linen Thread is behind the  greeting.  The additional die cut leaves are placed around the flowers adhering with glue.

The inside sentiment panel  has the same flowers as the card front and envelope flap, stamped in Bubble Bath ink.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink over the middle of the flowers.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets the same flowers as the card front but they are not colored only stamped in Bubble Bath ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions

Sunny Days Designer Series Paper makes the card I am sharing today, a bright and cheery card.  I am using Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions stamp set for the images on the card and Thoughtful Expressions Dies to die cut the images.  I am also using Painted Posies 3 D Embossing Folder.

I started with a Basic White cardstock card base embossing a panel of the same using Painted Posies 3 D Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Sunny Days Designer Series Paper (free during Sale-a-Bration with a qualified order) matting it on a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock.  The piece is then adhered over the embossed piece and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Gems from Tinsel Gems Four Pack are popped around the card front.

These are my challenges for this card

613  Avenue  Create

Inspire, Create Challenge

Make My Monday

Never Before Used Schtuff

Flowers and a hummingbird from Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions stamp set are stamped in Smoky Slate ink. After see the posted picture I realize the hummingbird should have probably been stamped in Memento Black ink to give a more distinct look.  The flowers are colored using Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The hummingbird is colored using Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. Wink of Stella is brushed on the flowers and parts of the hummingbird, but it doesn’t show up very well in the photo.  Leaves are die cut from Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce cardstock using dies from Thoughtful Expressions Dies.

Two labels are die cut from Basic White cardstock using dies from Thoughtful Expressions Dies.  The circle is for the flowers and hummingbird to rest.  The other one is for the greeting stamped in Smoky Slate ink, fussy cut, and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the label.  The label is popped over the edge of the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Iridescent Foil Gems are popped on two of the flowers on the piece  of Sunny Days Designer Series Paper.

A greeting is stamped in Memento Black ink on a label that has been cut using a die from Thoughtful Expressions Dies.  It is adhered in the middle of a panel of Sunny Days Designer Paper and adhered to the card base.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Sunny Days Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
