Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden — Hey Ya’ll

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden — Hey Ya’ll

The card today was created using Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Stamp Set, along with Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper.  Easy and simple card to make.

Card Cuts

  • Calypso Coral cardstock
    • cardbase — 4-14″ x 11: scored at 5-1/2″
  • Very Vanilla cardstock
    • inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • circle on card front — 4′ x 4″
  • Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper
    • 3 different patterns  — 4″ x 5-1/4″

Cut the three  4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces at the same time.  You can see how I cut mine from the photo.

Choose a piece from each pattern in the Designer Series Paper, and adhere them to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Leave a border between the pieces.  See the photo.  Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Happy Place Stamp Set.  Stamp flowers from Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Stamp Set in Smoky Slate ink.  Color the flowers using Watercolor Pencils. Pop the finish piece on the card front.

Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere a strip of Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper at the bottom of the panel.

Adhere a 2-1/2″ x 6″ piece of Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper to a Very Vanilla envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Words Of Beauty

Stampin’ Up! Words Of Beauty

I hope everyone is having a beautiful Fall day as we are here in Georgia. The days are perfect with just the correct temps to make it a great day. My favorite time of year, though, I am Winter.  If I wore Fall colors, I would feel terrible and look it, too.  Have you ever had your colors done to see which season you are?  I’ve even trained my husband well; he knows my colors better than I do.

The card I am sharing today is called a Collar Fun Fold by many people.  I suppose it does look like a collar.  I remember making one of these way back in 2017-2018 I believe.  It was a landscape card made to look like a woman’s dress.   I still have that card, did not like it so I felt it was not good enough to send to anyone. This card does not look that way as the collar is on the side instead of the top like a dress.  It also has a circle over the opening. Stampin’ Up! Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Words of Beauty Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Banner Sayings Stamp Set.

Card Cuts:

  • Lost Lagoon cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored aat 5-1/2″
  • Early Espresso cardstock
    • mats for card front and inside — 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Basic White cardstock
    • inside — 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper
    • collar piece on card front — 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
    • piece under collar — 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
    • circle — 3-1/2″ square to die cut flowers
    • strip on inside panel — 3/4″ x 3-7/8″
    • envelope flap — 2-1/4″ x 6″

On the long side of the Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper piece, measure over to the 2-3/4″ on your paper trimmer. Cut from this spot up about 1-3/4″. Score from the cut up to the corner, then fold the piece back.  You can see in the photo how it is turned back. Adhere the pink piece of Designer Series Paper to the back of the collar piece so the pink portion of the card shows through the opening. Now, adhere the piece to the Early Espresso cardstock, and finally, adhere it to the card base.  Using the largest die from Stylish Shapes Dies, die cut the circle of roses.  Adhere over the collar point. You can see in the photo.  Stamp in Secret Sea ink a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Banner Sayings Stamp Set. Adhere to the card front using double stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Words of Beauty Stamp Set using Secret Sea ink.  Stamp the other sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Banner Sayings Stamp Set in Calypso Coral ink.  Adhere the 3/4″ x 3-7/8″ strip of Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the sentiment panel to the Early Espresso cardstock panel, then adhere it to the Lost Lagoon card base.

Adhere the 2-1/4″ x 6″ piece of Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper to the Basic White envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Gathering Together with Amber Autumn

Stampin’ Up! Gathering Together with Amber Autumn

The card I am sharing today was created using Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn.  There is no stamp set to preview that I used in the creation.  I had stamped several of the pumpkins and acorn clusters, then loaned the stamp set to a friend, not remembering I would need it for my blog post.  Click back one post, and you can see the stamp set.  There are a few links at the bottom of the other Stack, Cut, Shuffle cards I have created.

Card Cuts:

  • Crumb Cake cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x ”  scored at 5-1/2″
  • Early Espresso cardstock
    • mat — 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Gathering Together Designer Series Paper
    • stack, cut, shuffle pieces — cut (4)  3-3/4″ x 5″  four different patterns
  • Basic White cardstock
    • circle — 4″ x 4″ for die cutting circle from the largest Stylish Shape Dies
    • pumpkins — 4″ x 4″
    • inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″

Stack all four panels of Gathering Together Designer Series Paper together to cut.  You can see the shapes in my photos of how I cut them.  I had never cut this pattern before, and I sort of like the design.  The fun of this Stack, Cut, Shuffle is that you can cut the four pieces the way you choose to get your design.  Watch for another style cut in a day or so.  As you cut, keep them stacked together, laying out in the design so it will be easier to lay out on the Early Espresso mats in a pattern. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp St is stamped in Early Espresso ink.  At the bottom, another sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Love Stamp Set is stamped in Timid Tiger ink along with pumpkins from Stampin’ Up! Tractor & Co Stamp Set.  The panel is then adhered to the Crumb Cake card base.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Gathering Together Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my creations with you each day. I hope and wish you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Have a blessed day!
