Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty

Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty

Happy  rainy Thursday everyone.  Good day to stay in curl up and read a good book.  I re-reading Ted Dekker’s Trilogy Books, don’t know why he calls them that when there are four; Black, Red, White, Green.  If you love mystery and time travel, you will love these.  He has written many books an in many of them he will refer back to the character in this book about something.  What good books are you reading?

My card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set, and Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set.

These are my challenges for this card:

Allsorts Challenge

Beautiful Blossoms

i started with a Basic Black card stock card base, adding a Very Vanilla cardstock layer, then a Basic Black cardstock layer, and lastly, another layer of Very Vanilla cardstock die cut using the largest die from Perennial Postage Dies.

I stamped the flowers from Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set in Memento Black ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Using the masks that come with the stamp set if you order the bundle, I colored the flowers using Bubble Bath and Berry Burst ink pads and Blending Brushes. To color the flowers I used Shaded Spruce ink and a Blending Brush.  After coloring, I used the matching die from Perennial Postage Dies to die cut the flowers.  I, also, die cut a few extra leaves from Shaded Spruce cardstock.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and matted on a piece of Basic Black cardstock.  The flowers are arranged on the Very Vanilla panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Several sequins from Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped around the card front along with gems from Tinsel Gems Four Pack.  The greeting is popped over the flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals with a Linen bow made using Linen Thread is behind the  greeting.  The additional die cut leaves are placed around the flowers adhering with glue.

The inside sentiment panel  has the same flowers as the card front and envelope flap, stamped in Bubble Bath ink.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink over the middle of the flowers.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets the same flowers as the card front but they are not colored only stamped in Bubble Bath ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Stamps Flight & Airy

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Stamps Flight & Airy

This card makes you want the soft breeze of Spring with the birds singing and lovely flowers all around instead of the cold, icy weather we are having at this time.  It is truly a breath of Spring.  It is created using Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper , Softly Sophisticated 3 D Embossing Folder, Scalloped Contours Dies, and Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set.

I am joining Sunday Stamps Challenge for this card.

i started with a Basic White card stock base.  To the base I added a panel of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue as the adhesive.  I cut two panels of Basic White card stock, one for the mat, the other embossed using Softly Sophisticated 3 D Embossing Folder. These two pieces are adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using a die from Scalloped Contours Dies, I die cut a piece of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper and popped on the right side of the embossed piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A circle is die cut from a piece of Vellum card stock using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  The circle is popped over the Flight & Airy piece die cut using Scalloped Contours Dies.  A bird and flowers are fussy cut(I love fussy cutting, but not this one it was a pain) from a piece of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper.  Before fussy cutting, I adhered the piece to a piece of Basic White card stock to give it more stability, as Designer Series Paper can be rather flimsy when fussy cut.  This fussy cut piece was adhered over the Vellum cardstock circle using pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A tiny bow is made from Linen Thread and popped on the branch the bird is sitting on.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set is stamped in Boho Blue ink on a scrap of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper, fussy cut, adhered to a scrap of Boho Blue card stock, then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets a bottom border of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper.  Multipurpose Liquid Glue is used to adhere to the panel, then the panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature Softly Stippled

Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature Softly Stippled

The card I am sharing today is created using Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper, Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder, Tinsel Gems, and Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set.

The card base is Lost Lagoon card stock. A piece of the Lost Lagoon card stock is embossed using Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder,  it is adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A strip of Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-Bration)  Sale-a-Bration is January 4 through the end of February.

Flowers are fussy cut from a panel of Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper. They are adhered to Pebble Path card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then fussy cut again before being arranged over the Softly Stipple strip using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Tinsel Gems are scattered around the card front.

A greeting is stamped in Pebble Path ink. The greeting is one of my stash that is in a stamp case with other stamps I can’t do without, so I can’t remember the stamp set it is from.  The greeting is trimmed then matted on a piece of Pebble Path card stock and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set is stamped in Pebble Path ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A flower and leaves from Softly Strippled Designer Series Paper are fussy cut and adhered in the lower corner.  Two Tinsel Gems are popped by the sentiment.

A Basic White medium envelope get a piece of Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet Notes of Nature — Just A Note!

Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet Notes of Nature — Just A Note!

This card today that I am sharing is a CAS of one on page 43 of the new Jan. – April 2024 Mini Catalog.  I did add a bit more than in the catalog.   I do not think a picture shows the real beauty of this card.  I really was just creating and not looking very well when I was creating this card, I was amazed at how it looked once I saw the finished card.  I used Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set and Notes of Nature Dies along with a die from Lovely & Sweet Dies.

The card in the catalog is not a fun fold but I created this as a landscape easel card.

The card base is Pebble Path card stock with another panel of Pebble Path used as the background panel.  The panel is stamped with dots using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set.  Using the vine stamp to die cut several vines from Pebble Path card stock.  Once they were adhered to the Pebble Path panel, I thought it gave the panel the look of being embossed.  An extra vine is used as the stop for the easel.

Most of the dies from Notes of Nature Dies along with one from Lovely & Sweet Dies is die cut from Basic Black card stock.  The flowers are die cut from a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper.  They do not show up very well in the picture. Two different patterns from Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper is cut. One of them is die cut using a die from Notes of Nature Dies.  A length of Gold Faux Leather Trim is laced through the holes on the die cut piece and a know tied on each end of the trim.  A greeting is stamped in Versa Mark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat embossed.  The piece is die cut using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  All the element have been created so it is time to put the card together.  All the pieces are arranged as you see in the photo above.  Adhesives used were Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A different pattern of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper is used for the inside panel.  A sentiment is stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock in Pebble Path ink. A small flower from Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet stamp set is stamped on the corner of the sentiment piece. The piece is adhered at the top of the designer series paper allowing the easel to open without showing the sentiment.  One of the Pebble Path vines is used to create the stop for the ease.

A piece of Basic White card stock is adhered on the back of the easel for additional notes.  A clump of Basic Black leaves are adhered in the corner.

A Basic White medium envelope get a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.
