Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora

Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora

I’m using an oldie but good one from the Annual Catalog.  This stamp set makes beautiful flowers. As you can see from the photo above it is Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora stamp set, along with Stripes & Splatters 3 D Embossing Folder, and Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.

This is a fun fold gift card holder. To me it is an unusual gift card holder, but one I wanted to give a try at least once.   My base is Boho Blue card stock.  A piece of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Stripe Embossing Folder from Stripes & Splatters 3 D Embossing Folders.  Flowers and leaves are stamped i Balmy Blue, Boho Blue and Night of Navy  using stamps from Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora stamp set.  The flowers and leaves are arranged over the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper and the embossed piece of Basic White cardstock.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  It is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Misty Moonlight gems from Tinsel Gems Three Pack are popped around the card front.

Cut a piece of designer series paper 5″ x 11″.  I used a piece of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper, but you can choose to make your card with whatever color of cardstock and designer series paper you choose.  Score this piece of designer series paper at 2-3/4″, 5-1/2″ and 8-1/4″.   Fold the first fold as a valley, the next as a mountain fold and the third as a valley fold.  You can see the photo above.   To create a gift card holder, on the right corner of the designer series paper  come out 2″ and cut from the 2″ mark to the score line above.  See photo above.  This gives you space for the gift card.  When you adhere the piece to the card base make sure you do not glue the opening when you glue that side of the card.

I adhered the left side piece first, folded the designer series paper, put adhesives around three sides of the piece cut for the gift card holder, then closed the card back over the designer series paper..

The three sentiments are from different stamp sets, the first is from Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprises, stamp set, the second in the circle is from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set and the last one on the panel of the gift card holder is from Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that you get to pre-order before a new catalog  launches so you are able to show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.
