Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature

Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature

Here I am using the same stamp set and Paper Pumpkin pieces that I used for another card this week, only this time it is a fun fold.  As I have said before I believe this is my favorite stamp set other than Lovely As A Tree.  It would be nice if Lovely As A Tree made a comeback.  I know there are many others who love the stamp set Lovely As A Tree.  This time it could have dies with it.  In the meantime, I will continue using Spotlight On Nature.

Card Cuts:

  • Fresh Freesia cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
    • small card — 3″ x 8″ scored @ 4″
    • embossed background paleftnel — 3-3/4″ 5″
  • Gold  Foil
    • mat for embossed panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • mat for front flap and sentiment panel — 2-7/8″ x 3-7/8″
    • mat for left front panel —  2-7/8″ x 3-7/8″
  • Basic White cardstock
    • sentiment panel — 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
    • flowers — 4″ x 5″
  • Iced Occasions Paper Pumpkin
    • front flap — 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
    • left front panel  —  2-1/2″ x  3-3/4″
  • Old Olive cardstock
    • leaves — 4″ x 5″
  • Vellum  4″ x 5″ for circle

.

Emboss the background piece using the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere all the pieces to their mat Goil Foil mats, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  After adhering to the mats, adhere the pieces to the card base.  Using Glue Dots where they will not show, glue the circle die cut from Vellum using a die from Spotlight On Nature Dies to the front flap.  On Basic White cardstock stamp the flowers from Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set.  Color the flowers using Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lolly and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.  Fussy cut the flowers.  On Old Olive cardstock stamp in Mossy Meadow ink a leaf image from Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set.  Die cut the leaves using the matching die from Spotlight On Nature Dies.  Arrange the flowers and leaves over the Vellum  adhering using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Make a loopy bow, adhering the bow over the flowers with a Glue Dot.  Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Frames Stamp Set on a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Memento Black ink.  Pop the sentiment in the lower left corner.  Pop three butterflies from Brass Butterflies among the flowers.

Stamp a sentiment on the sentiment panel in Memento Black ink using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set.  Stamp before you adhere the panel to the mat for easier stamping.

The same flowers as the card front are stamped and colored on the Basic White envelope flap.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. I hope and wish you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. If you have any questions, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

Challenges Entered

Can You Handle The Pressure

Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge

Creative Creases Challenge

Questions? You can Contact Me.  I’d love to be your Demonstrator if you need any stamping supplies.  Just click on the Shop Now button on the top right side of the screen to go directly to my online store.  You can Shop in my online store HERE

  • Ready to Join our team?  Click HERE  for more information. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is to pre-order before a new catalog launches, so you can show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card-making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card-making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.

Stampin’ Up! has some Online Exclusive items that are available to order now!!  You won’t find these products in any catalog, they’ll only be listed in the online store.  They’re also only available while supplies last, so order early for the best selection!

The Online Exclusive product releases will continue throughout the year so there will be new products to shop from, in addition to new catalogs!

Click here to head over to the online store to see what’s available in the Online Exclusives now!

Paper Pumpkin Price Increase

Beginning April 11, Paper Pumpkin is increasing its subscription prices to accommodate rising manufacturing costs. All new subscriptions purchased on or after April 11 will be at the new price.
The price increase will go toward product value—which means that demonstrators will earn more on order commissions. In addition, starting Tuesday, April 15, Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will qualify for rewards through the new Stampin’ Rewards program.

The first kit at the new price, the May Mountain Majesties Kit, will bill on May 11 at 12:01 a.m. (MT).

STAMPIN’ REWARDS CHANGED AS OF  APRIL 15, 2025

Stampin’ Up! updated their Rewards Program beginning mid-April!

The current Stampin’ Rewards program that Stampin’ Up!  had for many years went away on April 15, 2025.
Bottom line? You will now be able to earn Stampin’ Rewards on smaller orders!
Here’s the details:

  • You will not have to place a large order of $150+ to earn free product, as it was with the previous Stampin’ Rewards system.
  • On April 15,  2025, and moving forward, you will earn 10% rewards with orders of $20+!! So…for example, when you place an order of $50 you’ll earn a $5 reward to use the next time you shop!
  • You can save your rewards for up to a year! So, you can spend them on a future order all at once or a little at a time.  Boom!
  • Additionally, the “host code” is going away….so, as of April 15, 2025, you will not need to apply my current host code to your order.

What should you know now to prepare for these changes?
Here are a few things that you can do to make the transition to the new program as smooth as possible:

  • You DO need to have a Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com so you can earn and redeem rewards.
    • I will NOT be able to create and manage customer accounts. I can still help you with ordering if you need me to, but, because of stricter banking policies and data/privacy laws, you’ll need to officially be in charge of your own customer account for earning & redeeming rewards.  So make sure you’re able to log in at stampinup.com.
  • NOTE! You must “opt in” to the program to earn and redeem Stampin’ Rewards.  When you place your first order after  April 15 – you’ll have the chance to “Opt In”.  That’s a good time to do it so you’ll earn Rewards on THAT order!  But – if you decide NOT to at that point – you can always do it on a future order!
  • Don’t want a Stampin’ Up! online store account?? You can still have me place your order for you!  You won’t get the Stampin’ Rewards directly – they’ll come to me and I’ll apply them to a future order for you.
  • If you DO NOT want to “Opt in” to the rewards program, you don’t have to – you can still place orders, but be aware that you won’t receive the Stampin’ Rewards for your purchases.

Again these changes will began  April 15, 2025.  Let me know if you have any questions.
