Stampin’ Up! Masterfully Made — Thinking Of You

This will be the last card from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog as the new catalog goes live for customers tomorrow. The card I am sharing today is created using Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper

and Paper Florist Dies along with Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

The Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper really does all the work. It makes for a beautiful card. The card base is Melon Mambo with an Exposed Brick 3D embossed panel of Lemon Lime Twist. Flowers are die cut from Berry Burst cardstock and Bubble Bath cardstock using dies from Paper Florist Dies. They are popped on the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots. Melon Mambo Glossy Dots are popped around the card front.

Sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set are stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. A strip of Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper is adhered down the side of the panel. It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock that has been embossed using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and is adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Krafty Chicks Challenge #708 — CAS — Clean and Simple — Diane

I have the honor of being the Guest Chick for Krafty Chicks Challenge for the month of March. This is week three and the theme as you can see above is CAS (Clean & Simple). We so happy you are joining us this week.

My card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set, along with two other Stampin’ Up! stamp sets, Beach Day and Lazy Days. I really like the sentiment from these two stamp sets that is the reason I have used them so much recently. I also, used the Splatters 3D Embossing Folder.

My card base is Basic White cardstock with a panel of the same cardstock embossed using the Splatters 3D Embossing Folder from Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders. A smaller piece of Basic White cardstock is cut and the right side corners are embossed using the same embossing folder. This piece is laid on the bigger embossed piece and brushed with a Blender Brush that has been swiped through Bubble Bath ink. The butterfly is also brushed a bit on the wings with the Blender Brush and Bubble Bath ink.

A flower image from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set is stamped in Memento Black Ink on the smaller of the embossed panels. The flowers are colored using Bubble Bath, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. A greeting from stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock , then die cut using a die from Meadow Dies. The greeting is popped across the bottom of the flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three sequins from Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins are popped around the card front and on the butterfly. The butterfly is adhered with a glue dot just at the edge of the flower piece.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set is stamped on a panel of Basic White cardstock in Memento Black ink. A flower like the one on the card front is stamped on the right side of the panel and colored using Bubble Bath, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.

A Basic White envelope gets the same image as the card front stamped to the envelope flap and the corner of the envelope front and colored.

Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty — Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set and Dies is used today to create the card I am sharing with you. I also used Stampin’ Up! Beach Days stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set. I also used the large die from Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora Dies to create the background piece for this card.

Start with a Bubble Bath card stock card base.
Cut another panel of Bubble Bath cardstock
Die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using a die from Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora Dies.
Stamp the flower image from Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
Color the flower image using Bubble Bath and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.
Die cut leaves from a piece of Garden Green cardstock using dies from Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty Dies.
Adhere the Two Tone Flora piece to the Bubble Bath piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Pop the flower image over the floral image using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tuck the Garden Green leaves around the floral image.
Add sequins from Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins around the card front.
Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.
Mat the greeting on a scrap of Bubble Bath cardstock.
Pop the greeting over a double loop bow using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere the card front to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, making sure to only put glue on half of the panel. See photo.
On a panel of Basic White cardstock stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set and Stampin Up! Lazy Days stamp set.
Stamp a flower from Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set in the lower right corner of the sentiment panel.
Color using the same colors as on the card front.
Stamp another flower and color the same as the card front.
Pop this second flower over the one in the right corner. This creates the stop for the easel card.
Adhere the sentiment panel to the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Emboss a panel of Basic White cardstock using an embossing folder of choice.
Adhere the embossed panel to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Cut two pieces of Basic White cardstock for the back of the card. This gives extra space for writing.
Die cut two leaves and two flowers and adhere to the corners of each panel.

Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest — Thinking of You

The card I am sharing is created using Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest stamp set and Dies. This card is a CAS of Karen Ksenzahovic . By clicking on her name you will be able to go to her blog and see how she created this card. I had thought of this design as I am sure others have, but Karen made it first so she needs the credit for it. I also used Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper, and a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set.

This is the challenge I am entering for this card.

Creative Creases Challenge

Using a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock die cut with the die you see in the above photo on the left. This die cut piece adheres to the left edge of the 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ card base that has been scored at 4-1/4″ using Tear & Tape or adhesive of your choice.

Adhere a piece of Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper to the left side of the card base. the card will open on the left instead of the regular right side. There will also be a panel of the same adhered to the inside of this panel. You can see that in the photo above this one.

Foliage is die cut from pieces of Granny Apple Green and Old Olive cardstock and a scrap of Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper using dies from Delicate Forest Dies. These pieces are adhered at the bottom of the card front to add more foliage to the die cut card front.

This is how the card front looks once embellishments are added. Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots are popped around the card front.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set is stamped on a panel of Basic White cardstock in Shaded Spruce ink. A tree image from Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce and Pecan Pie ink. A strip of Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper is fussy cut to give the appearance that the tree is on a hill. It is adhered to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Another panel of Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper is adhered to the right inside panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White envelope get a panel of Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Everyday Details — Hello

I am sad that today is the last day of Sale-a-Bration and this beautiful Flight and Airy Designer Series Paper will be gone. If you think it as beautiful as I do and love making cards using it, today is the last day it will be available. It maybe already gone, since it is a free item with Sale-a-Bration. I used it along with Stampin’ Up! Everyday Details stamp set, the 3 D embossing folder that comes with the Softly Sophisticated stamp set, another free Sale-a-Bration item, Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set, and Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set.

All card cuts will be at the end of this blog post.

Start with a Basic White cardstock card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″.
Cut a of Misty Moonlight cardstock mat.
Cut three pieces of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper, see measurement at the end of the post.
Emboss the two upper pieces using the 3 D embossing folder in Softly Sophisticated Stamp Bundle, a free Sale-a-Bration item with a qualified order.
Adhere the three pieces to the Misty Moonlight cardstock piece using Multipurpose Glue or adhesive of your choice. Leave a border as shown in the above picture.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock stamp the bird nest image from Stampin’ Up! Everyday Details stamp set in Pecan Pie ink.
Color the image using Crumb Cake and Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends.
Fussy cut the bird nest.
Stamp on a scrap of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set.
Pop the bird nest over the top two piece of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Before popping the bird nest on, cut piece of Faux Leather Trim and adhere behind the bird nest using Glue dots.
Pop the greeting in the lower right corner using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
Pop 2022-2024 In Color Pearls around the card front.
Now, the Misty Moonlight piece is ready to be popped on the Basic White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set in Memento Black in on a panel of Basic White cardstock.
Add birds like the birds on the card front to a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock, adhering at the bottom of the Basic White panel.
Adhere the Basic White cardstock sentiment panel to a Misty Moonlight cardstock mat.
Adhere the sentiment panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Add two 2022-2024 In Color Pearls to the panel.
To a Basic White envelope add a piece of Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
