Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy
The card starts out with a regular 4-14″ x 11″ card base in Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock scored at 5-1/2″. The way the card folds you will still have a panel for your inside sentiment and it forms the base to prop up the double easel.
I want to enter this Dream Valley challenge again as the theme is More than one fold
And 613 Avenue Create — Anything Goes — Optional Twist Winged Things– how nice that I get to do the optional also as birds have wings.
For the easel portion, I used a 4″ x 10 1/4″ piece of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock and scored it at 2-1/2” and at 5”. The first score line (2-1/2”) is folded as a valley and the second one (5”) as a mountain. Burnish both folds well so the card will be easier to lay flat. This is adhered to the standard card base.
Using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Bundle, I cropped the piece that looks like a slide. You will end up with two panels that look like small mountain slides. #1 goes on the inside fold of the card below the greeting. You can see where the two panels go in the photo below. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, have the bottom edges even so the mountain looking part will extend above the fold.
#2 get the panel that has been cropped using another of the dies from the Quite Curvy Bundle. Each leaf is colored using Stampin’ Blends — Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake. A pencil was used to draw the leaf veins.
Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness Stamp Set is used to stamp the shock of corn and pumpkins. I had to fussy cut because I made the mistake of just ordering the stamp set thinking I was ordering the bundle. The little birds are from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set.
The greeting is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze and is from the Quite Curvy Stamp Bundle. The garland of leaves is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends in Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Mango Melody and cropped with a die from the bundle. It is adhered across the top of the card above the greeting. The panel and all the pieces that form the easel are embossed using Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.
A Stampin’ Up! Medium size envelope is stamped on the envelope flap and on the lower front of the envelope with the garland of leaves and colored.
