Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow — Congratulations

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow — Congratulations

I am sharing a beautiful card today created using more than one stamp set.  I used Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set for the main focus of the card.  Stampin’ Up! Scenic Wonders, So Sincere, and Something Fancy stamp sets are use for the greeting and sentiment.  Quiet Meadow will probably be retired when the new annual catalog comes out along with the other three sets.

I am entering the Sketch Saturday Challenge for this card. Their theme this challenge is to choose a design from past sketches so  I chose Sketch #649.  This is a sketch design that I am saving for future cards.   I looked through the designs three times, saving designs I liked to my challenge folder for future use.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a piece of the same embossed using the Splatters die from Stripes & Splatters 3 D Embossing Folders.  The piece behind the art piece is embossed with the same as is the corner of the art piece.  I believe the gold mats make the Basic White pieces popped out.

The three embossed pieces has Balmy Blue ink brushed on using a Blending Brush  The two smaller pieces of Basic White card stock are matted on pieces of Distressed Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The background piece is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The larger of the two small pieces is adhered over the background piece.  The art piece is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals as you can see from the photo above.  A butterfly from my stash of butterflies is popped on the card front also.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy stamp set is stamped in Smoky Slate ink on a piece of Basic White card stock, matted on a piece of Distressed Gold Specialty Design Series Paper.  Tinsel Gems are popped around ‘the card front.  One of the Gems is also popped on the butterfly’s head.

A panel of Basic White card stock is stamped in Smoky Slate ink with a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Scenic Wonders stamp set.  Flowers from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set are stamped in Smoky Slate ink, then colored using Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a flower image from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set stamped on the envelope flap in Smoky Slate then colored using Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that you get to pre-order before a new catalog  launches so you are able to show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.
