Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove On The Horizion With Much Love
The card I am sharing today is created using the beautiful New Horizon DSP, (I love, love this DSP) along with the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set, Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon, Stampin’ Up! Through It Together and finally the horses from a Stampin’ Up! long-retired set Let It Ride. You know there are just certain sets that will always stay with you.
My design for the card I am sharing today is inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week.
The card base is Evening Evergreen card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Timbers 3-D Embossing Folder. It is adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
A panel of New Horizon DSP is trimmed to the size needed for the card front, images from the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set are stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on the panel. The birds are from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon stamp set and are stamped in Night of Navy ink.
The pine trees stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on the right side are from the Stampin’ Up! Let It Ride stamp set is long retired, but as I stated earlier there are some stamp sets you can’t part with or that is the case with me. The horses are from the same set and are stamped in Soft Suede ink then colored using a Watercolor Pencil and smoothed out using a Blender Pen. Pebbles Enamel Shapes are made to look like rocks lining the stream and a pile of rocks in the stream.
A strip of the New Horizon DSP is stamped with trees from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink along with the flowers at the bottom of the Basic White panel. Birds are stamped in Night of Navy ink across the top of the Basic White panel and into the New Horizon DSP strip. A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink also.
A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of New Horizon DSP applied to the envelope flap. The panel on the envelope flap is the top portion of the panel used on the card front.
If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.
