Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove On The Horizion With Much Love

Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove On The Horizion With Much Love

The card I am sharing today is created using the beautiful New Horizon DSP, (I love, love this DSP) along with the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set, Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon, Stampin’ Up! Through It Together and finally the horses from a Stampin’ Up! long-retired set Let It Ride.  You know there are just certain sets that will always stay with you.

My design for the card I am sharing today is inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week.

The card base is Evening Evergreen card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Timbers 3-D Embossing Folder.  It is adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of New Horizon DSP is trimmed to the size needed for the card front, images from the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set are stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on the panel.  The birds are from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon stamp set and are stamped in Night of Navy ink.

The pine trees stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on the right side are from the Stampin’ Up! Let It Ride stamp set is long retired, but as I stated earlier there are some stamp sets you can’t part with or that is the case with me.  The horses are from the same set and are stamped in Soft Suede ink then colored using a Watercolor Pencil and smoothed out using a Blender Pen.  Pebbles Enamel Shapes are made to look like rocks lining the stream and a pile of rocks in the stream.

A strip of the New Horizon DSP is stamped with trees from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink along with the flowers at the bottom of the Basic White panel.  Birds are stamped in Night of Navy ink across the top of the Basic White panel and into the New Horizon DSP strip.  A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink also.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of New Horizon DSP applied to the envelope flap.  The panel on the envelope flap is the top portion of the panel used on the card front.

Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Hello Card

Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Hello Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Stamp Set, along with Stampin’ Up!  On The Horizon Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove Stamp Set.

My design for this card is inspired by the Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge.

I started with a card base of Pale Papaya card stock, adding a layer of Evening Evergreen card stock as a mat for the On The Horizon DSP.  I stamped one of the images from Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Stamp Set in Smoky Slate ink, fussy cut her, then colored her using  Stampin’ Blends Markers in Dark Pale Papaya for the shirt, Balmy Blue for the jeans, Crumb Cake for her hair, and a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Marker for her cup.  I popped her over the panel of On The Horizon DSP.

I stamped two trees from the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove Stamp Set in Old Olive ink on the right side of the On The Horizon panel.  I stamped in Olive Ink the grass and flower bunch from the same set.  Using a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Pen, I made dots on the flowers to add a bit of color. This flower bunch is popped at the bottom of the panel so it looks as if the girl is sitting in the flowers.

Birds from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Stamp Set are stamped in Night of Navy ink at the top of the panel.  The hello is from an old Paper Pumpkin kit.  Several Brushed Brash Butterflies are scattered around the card front.

The sentiment is stamped in Old Olive ink on the Basic White panel and is from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Stamp Set. A leftover strip of the New Horizon DSP is added at the bottom of the panel and a few Brushed Brass Buttersfiles are added.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of the New Horizon DSP left from the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove Birthday Card

Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove Birthday Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove Stamp Set and the Grove Dies along with the tree dies from the Majestic Mountain Dies.

I am entering the Creative Crease Challenge — theme Anything Goes with a Fun Fold.

I suppose you can call this a fun fold card since it is a shadowbox card.   Susan Levasseur has a great Youtube video that shows the creation of this card.  I found it very helpful after I goofed putting the first one together per my thinking, I made another one after seeing Susan’s video. I realized what I had done the second it was glued down. The card above is a great card without making it into a shadowbox.

I started with a card base of Basic White card stock, cutting one panel 5- 1/2″ x 10- 1/2″, scored on the 10- 1/2″ side at 1/2″, 4″, 4 -1/2″, and 8″. Cut one piece 4″ x 5- 1/4″ this will be the card front after you create the shadowbox.

This is a side view of how the card looks after being folded into the shadow box.

The Embossed Mat is Mossy Meadow card stock cut 3 -3/4″ x 5- 1/4″  Use the Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder to emboss. This panel adheres to the card front over the Basic White card stock.

The greeting on card front is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on aBasic White card stock scrap using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otters Stamp Set. Crop using the smallest skinny die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The large mound on the card front is stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink, then cropped and popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals placed along the lower edge of the mound.  This is so you can get the trees and deer behind the mound.

There are two sets of trees one set is colored using Stampin’ Write Markers in Crumb Cake and Old Olive, the other is cropped using dies from the Majestic Mountain Dies and a piece of the green DSP from the New Horizon DSP.  These are then adhered to the card front and under the edge of the mound.  The clouds are from the Majestic Mountain Dies also and are cropped from a panel of the Simply Marvelous DSP (a free product during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 purchase).

This is another view of the fold.

These are the dies used to create the inside of the card.

The background mat forms the sky and grasses is a panel New Horizon DSP cut at 5- 1/2″ x 3- 1/2″.

Cut a panel New Horizon DSP  5- 1/2″ x  3- 1/2″, cut at the mark on the cutter that is just before the 3-1/2” mark. Cut both pieces of the New Horizon DSP the same size.  This is the piece cropped to create the tree scene of the shadowbox. Adhere an Adhesive Sheet panel to the DSP then adhere to the Basic White card stock to crop using the largest dies from the Grove Die Set.  This creates the trees.

Press a 2” x 3” piece of Basic White card stock on the Cinnamon Cider ink pad, let dry, crop using baby deer die from the Grove Die Set. All deer, one standing, the baby, and the deer laying down are all stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink.

The inside sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Stamp Set is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a 3″ x 4″ piece of Basic White card stock and cropped using a die from the Scalloped Contour Die Set.  The leaves from the Grove Die Set are cropped from the scraps of New horizon DSP that is left when the inside panel of the card is cropped.

The DSP on the envelope flap is a panel from the Expressions in Ink DSP embossed using the Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder.
