Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace Merry Christmas

Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace Merry Christmas

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set. along with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

I am inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge as my design inspiration for today.

I am also entering the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge. Their theme is Christmas.

The card base is Evening Evergreen card stock with a layer of Basic White card stock embossed using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the panel.  The panel is then adhered to the Evening Evergreen card stock base.

Two panels of Basic White card stock are cropped using a die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies.  Two panels of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper are cropped using a die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies also.  The Basic White card stock is the mat for these two pieces of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper.  The two panels of Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper are adhered at an angle over the embossed panel of Basic White card stock.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set is stamped in Real Red ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, and popped on the card front.  Several Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped around the card front.

A panel of Basic White card stock is cropped using a die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies and a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set is stamped in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A strip of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper is adhered across the bottom of the panel.

Basic White envelope gets a panel of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I feel like a genius,  I started to post my blog last night and there was a big problem, part of the blog was missing, I worked for a while but decided to resume the process today. It had been so long since I created my blog, that it took me all day to figure out how to find what was missing and get it reactivated. It was such a great day, I clicked on a link when asking how to do things in searh, and guess what — a virus that froze my computer popped up and said if I closed my computer all my content would be destroyed.  I called Geek Squad and in 2 minutes the tech had it repaired.  He even told me what to do if that happened again.  Something very simple that I will be sure to remember.

So I hope your day was much better than the one I had.  Be careful where you click.
