Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas

Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas

Today is the day the fun begins for some people, but some of us have to wait until tomorrow and it will be a fun day!

My card  I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas and the Stampin’ Up! Christmastime is Here DSP.

My inspiration for the design comes from the challenge Try Stampin On Tuesday

And… Color inspiration comes from Stamping Sensations — theme — red, green, gold

My color scheme is red, green, gold so you can know the card base is a Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Gold Foil Sheet as a mat for the Stampin’ Up! Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper background panel.  Gold is also used as the mat for the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper panel that runs vertically.  The three jewels are also from the Stampin’ Up! Christmastime Is Here Suite Bundle.

The cardinal from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Set is stamped on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock in Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler ink and then colored using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends in Light and Dark Real Red and Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler.

The beak of the bird is Stampin’ Up! Light Mango Melody.  The berries and leaves on the branch are colored using the Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Marker and Light Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  A sprig of the flowers from the card front is adhered to the corner of the panel.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Christmastime Is Here DSP for the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Wrapped In Plaid

Stampin’ Up! Wrapped In Plaid

Welcome and Happy Thursday!  Are you getting more excited?  One day after today and the excitement of fun and friends, old and new begins.  OnStage is closer and closer.🙂

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper, Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set, and Christmas Rose Stamp Set.

The design inspiration comes from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge for the week.

Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock is the card base with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White mat for the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped in Plaid DSP focal panel.  I know the panel does not look like plaid, it is the reverse side of one of the plaid panels. A short panel of the plaid is adhered to the focal panel and then an evergreen that has been fussy cut from a panel of the DSP is popped over the banner using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler ink and fussy cut to size and popped over the evergreen.  Three Stampin’ Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels are randomly placed on the card front.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White and two strips of the Wrapped in Plaid DSP is added to the sides of the panel.

The envelope gets a panel of the Wrapped in Plaid DSP added to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods

Welcome, I believe The North Pole has invaded us!  It is so cold, dare I venture out.  My nose may freeze, it looks like I am going to have to give in and wear a coat!  Is everyone excited about the event this weekend, are you counting the days until you arrive in “Hot ‘Lanta” but it is “Cold ‘ Lanta” right now, maybe it will warm-up for the weekend?

I attended a funeral today you could say,  seven veterans that the funeral home had kept for about 30 years was buried today at the Military Cemetary here in Cherokee county. No one had claimed them in all these years.  A request was made for people to line the road on Hwy 92 in Woodstock and it so happened.  I about froze, I was literally shaking I was so cold, but it was so touching to see all the people and cars and motorcycles.  There were probably 200 cars and motorcycles, plus all the police.  All the people riding motorcycles had to be really really cold.

Well on to my card for the day.  The card I am sharing with you today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Set (how appropriate since it is so cold outside).

The challenge I am entering today is Happy Little Stampers – Anything Goes with Dies.

My card base is a card from the Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card & Envelopes.  This is a great way to have an envelope that is already decorated and all you have to do is add a few of your own idea.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Set to stamp the large evergreen tree on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla card stock.

I then cropped the evergreen using a die from the Stampin’ Up! In The Woods Dies.  I then popped it on the card base using Stampin’ Up! Mini Dimensionals.  I decorated the tree using rhinestones from Stampin’ Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Noble Peacock Rhinestones.  I colored some of the rhinestones red using a Stampin’ Up! Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Marker.  A star from the Stampin’ Up! Star Designer Elements was popped on the top of the tree.

Presents and the cookies and cocoa were fussy cut from a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Up!  The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set and is stamped using Versa Mark ink and Stampin’ Up!  Gold Embossing Powder.

The sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White and an evergreen is stamped in the lower corner using Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink.

The envelope comes in the Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas

Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas

Welcome, and have a great day even in the chilly cold weather.  At least we have no snow!

The card I am sharing with you today is an easy quick card.  It is made using one of the cards from the Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas Memories and More Card Pack.

The challenge I am entering today is Dragonfly Dreams –  theme Christmas/ Winter.

Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock is used as the card base with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock mat for the Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas art piece which has been trimmed to fit the card base.

The art piece is adhered to the Whisper White mat and then to the card base.  The snow is cropped from a panel of Stampin’ Up! Silver Glimmer Paper and then two deer from the Night Before Christmas Memories and More Card Pack are popped on the snow using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The greeting is cut from one of the stickers in the pack and trimmed in Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dashing Deer Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Whisper White which is then adhered to the card base.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Let It Snow

Stampin’ Up! Let It Snow

Happy, happy cold day in Georgia!  I would not want to be a deer hunter sitting in a tree this cold, cold morning!  Have a great weekend.

My cute card today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Let it Snow  Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder, Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set, and the Christmas Rose Stamp Set.

Inspiration is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

And…  Craftyhazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge –  theme –  anything as long as it includes patterned paper.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock with a panel of Real Red card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. I find it easier to emboss a separate panel the same size as the card instead of trying to emboss the card front.

The art piece is cut from the Stampin’ Up! Let It Snow DSP as is the red stripe mat and the strip at the bottom.  I  added a few things to the art piece, like arms, hair bows for the girl and red buttons.  The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set.

The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set and the little snowman on the iceberg is from the Let It Snow DSP.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Let it Snow DSP added to the envelope flap for the final finishing touches.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.
