Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Wishes
My card is created using the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. As you can see a very simple easy card to create.
I am playing along in two challenges today the Double D Challenge.
And…
the Moving Along With the Time Monochrome Color Challenge.
As I said earlier, you can see how simple this card is to create. A card base from Stampin’ Up! Blushing Bride card stock A 2-1/2″ square from the same card stock that has been cut using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Square Framelits.
The card front and the butterfly panel have been embossed using the Stampin’ UP! Subtle Embossing Folder. A butterfly from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits is used to cut the butterfly in the center of the square. It is then returned to its place and a scrap of Stampin’ Up! Lovely Lipstick card stock is adhered behind it to show the Lovely Lipstick color through the butterfly.
The heart and the word LOVE are also cut from Lovely Lipstick and adhered or popped on with Liquid Multipurpose Glue or Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three pearls from the Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels Assortment is scattered over the card front.
The inside sentiment is stamped on a panel of Whisper White using the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you are having a blessed Memorial Day weekend.

You get another sneak peek today of the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp bundle. (It is available to customers June 4.) I am using it today to create my card.

All layers are put together using Liquid Multipurpose Glue. The base is Stampin’ Up! Balmy Blue card stock. Next, there is a panel of Stampin’ Up! Highland Heather and final the focal panel is Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper (DSP).

I am using the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You stamp set to create my card for today. I turned it into a graduation card to celebrate my granddaughter’s high school graduation. We have had graduations every week during the month of May and this will be the last for the year. Between weddings and graduations, we stay quite busy.
My card starts with a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock card base. The card front has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Oh! My Stars Embossing Folder (retiring June 3). A panel from Stampin’ Up!’s 6″ x 6″ Regals Paper Collection. It has been cut in a certain shape that I learned from Jaimie Babarczy.
This panel is adhered to the card base using Liquid Multipurpose Glue. The art piece with my little graduate is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. The image is colored using Stampin’ Up! Real Red and Basic Black Watercolor Pencils. The greeting celebrate is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink also.
A small square of Basic Black card stock was cut to make the Mortar Board. (The square academic cap, graduate cap, mortarboard (because of its similarity in appearance to the mortarboard used by brick masons to hold mortar) or Oxford cap, is an item of academic dress consisting of a horizontal square board fixed upon a skull-cap, with a tassel attached to the center.) The tassel is created by using a scrap of gold thread from my sewing box. A Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewel is used as the button for the mortarboard. The art piece is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The inside sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Well Said stamp bundle and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. The word happy is cut from a scrap of the Regals paper and adhered using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
An envelope has its flap decorated with a panel of the Regals Bright paper also.

I am giving you a Sneak Peek as I use the new Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home stamp set (available to customers on June 4) to create my card for today. It was a very easy card and took little time to create. So if you need a quick card give this one a try when you purchase the bundle on June 4.

My card starts with a Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock base. There are three mats, one being used as the background mat. I used Stampin’ Up! Whisper White and Night of Navy card stock for the first two mats. From the center of these two mats, the panel for the art piece and the mat for the art piece is cut. By cutting these two panels from the center of two mats that the center will never be seen, you are conserving card stock, plus the weight of the card as this will eliminate two additional pieces of card stock being added to the card. The first two mats and the background panel cut from the new Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (DSP) (available June 4 to customers) are adhered using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
The art panel is watercolored using the Stampin’ Up! Balmy Blue watercolor pencil and a Stampin’ Up! Aqua Painter. After the watercolor dries, the sailboat image from the new Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home stamp set is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The sailboat is colored using the Stampin’ Up! Real Red watercolor pencil and the Aqua Painter.
The rope across the top of the art piece is from the new Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack. The greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set (carrying over to the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog) is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink.
The inside sentiment is stamped in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. The sentiments are from the Stampin’ Up! Strong and Beautiful and Stampin’ Up! Well Said stamp sets.
The envelope flap gets a panel of the Come Sail Away DSP adhered to it using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends stamp set that is being retired June 3 to create my card for the As You See It Challenge. I have so many stamp sets that are retiring that have found very little use. It seems I’ve gotten stuck on certain sets and continued to use and use and use. Now time is running out and they will soon retire. But there are so many beautiful sets in the new 2019-2020 Catalog, I am sure they will soon be just a memory.
