Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends

Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends

I used the Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends stamp set that is being retired June 3 to create my card for the  As You See It Challenge.  I have so many stamp sets that are retiring that have found very little use.  It seems I’ve gotten stuck on certain sets and continued to use and use and use.  Now time is running out and they will soon retire.  But there are so many beautiful sets in the new 2019-2020 Catalog, I am sure they will soon be just a memory.

My theme comes from the As You See It Challenge.   A carAnnuald is to be made that includes two and I think my Stampin’Up! Bella and Friends image qualifies for the two.

My card starts off with a Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bushel card stock base.

Next a Stampin’ Up! Sahara Sand card stock panel is cut and embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Woodlands Embossing Folder.  This is adhered to the card base using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.  A panel of Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock is cut as a mat for the art piece.  The art image is from the Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends stamp set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Watercolor pencils were used to color the image.  The greeting is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso ink.

The inside sentiment is also from the Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends stamp set.  It is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.  The image on the card front is carried over to the sentiment panel.

An envelope has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Woodlands Embossing Folder the same as the front panel.

I hope you like my card and find inspirations and encouragement for your own creations.  Have a blessed day!

  1. This is certainly a set that will be missed by me…the images are so cute and easy to color! Love how you used the embossed background as well as your color palette! Sweet card! Thanks for playing with our 200th celebration!

  2. Shirley, that adorable image certainly qualifies as TWO! You’ve done such a nice job of showcasing those two characters with the red, blue and neutral. And the texture on the Crumb Cake adds another feature of interest! Thanks for helping us celebrate our 200th challenge here at As You See It Challenges!

  3. What a sweet pair of friends – a lovely TWOsome! I like the bold pops of colour from the blueberry and red. They make for an interesting contrast with the softer watercolouring of the art piece. Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It for our 200th challenge.

  4. So sweet! Love the cute puppy and turtle playing, perfect colors too! 🙂
