Amy’s Inkin’ Krew May Blog Hop
Welcome to the May blog hop of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew. We are so glad you are here because you are going to see some great project that have been created. I hope you enjoy all the ideas and our blog hop. Our theme for this month is “Masculine” and we are free to interpret that any way that we like. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Krew member’s blog. You will find the full line-up below to help you hop along from Krew member to Krew member. On we go…
My card is created from the Let it Ride stamp set. I am so happy this stamp set is carrying over.
My sketch design is from Fusion Card Challenge.
As you can see from the sketch this is an easy card to create. The card base is Cajun Craze card stock with a mat from the Wood Texture 6″ x 6″ DSP (retiring June 3) here’s hoping that it will return in a later catalog because of so many people like using it. A panel of Crumb Cake is embossed using the Pinewood Plank Embossing. Folder and I am so happy it will be returning in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. It is adhered using Liquid Glue. A 1-1/2″ strip from the Wood Texture DSP is cut and the art image is stamped on it. The image is from the Let It Ride stamp set. The horses are stamped in Early Espresso ink and the trees in Mossy Meadow ink. This strip is then matted on a dark panel from the Wood Texture DSP and Old Olive Linen Thread is wrapped around the panel. This is popped onto the Pinewood Plank panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting from Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a Very Vanilla circle that has been cut using the Layering Stitched Circle Dies. The Very Vanilla Circle has been matted on a small scrap of Wood Texture DSP that the larger circle is cut.
The inside sentiment from the Humming Along stamp set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a Very Vanilla panel of card stock. The trees in the corner are from the Let It Ride stamp set and are stamped in Mossy Meadow ink that has been stamped off once. The panel is adhered to the card base using Liquid Glue.
