Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Layers with Springtime Scenes

A card with a hidden surprise. Another card made using the December Product Of The Month Designer Series Paper. The card is made from die-cut images, with the only stamping being the sentiments. I used dies from Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Layers Dies, Stampin’ Up! Springtime Scenes Dies and Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder.

Card Cuts:

Basic White cardstock
- card base – 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
- embossed panel – 4” x 5-1/4”
- short mat – 2-1/4” x 3-1/8”
- flowers – 4” x 5-1/4”
- inside sentiment – 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” (cut 2)
True Blue Designer Series Paper
- light blue circle — 3” x 3”
- light blue panel card front — 2″ x 5-1-/2″
- night of navy mat for light blue panel — 2-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
- night of navy square – 3-3/8” x 3-3/8”
- inside left panel – 3” x 3”
- inside right panel – 3-1/2” x 4-1/4’

Adhere the Basic White Beautiful Pattern Embossed piece to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I used glue for the entire card.
Adhere the light blue 2″ x 5-1/2″ piece to the 2-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Night of Navy Designer Series Paper.
Adhere on the left side of the card front over the embossed panel.
Adhere the short piece of the embossed piece to the Night of Navy square of Designer Series Paper.
Adhere to the card front centering over the blue and white panels.
Adhere the light blue circle over the square.
Arrange the flowers and foliage ove the circle adhering with Stampin’ Dimensionals, Glue Dots, and Liquid Glue.
Adhere the greeting in the lower right corner using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add the embellishment to the flower centers and by the greeting.

Stamp sentiments on the inside of the small card using stamps from Stampin’ Up! Banner Sayings. The sentiment on the right is one I typed on my computer.

This is the way the inside looks when the little card is closed.

A piece of True Blue Designer Series Paper is adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts with Abigail Rose

I know there are not many hours of Memorial Day left where I live, but I am posting anyway as the host company has been working on my blog all day. Hope it works now.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set for the greeting, a panel of Abigail Rose DSP for the focal panel, and the Hive 3D Embossing Folder for the background panel.

My challenge is with Sunday Stamps. I think the design for this challenge is really cool.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. The panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cropped a piece of Basic White card stock using a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. It is embossed using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder and adheres behind a piece of Abigail Rose DSP that has been cropped with another die from Stitched Rectangle Dies. It is cropped again at an angle giving two pieces. These two pieces are adhered to a Basic White piece to give stability to the DSP. Two of the flowers are colored using a Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Marker and Night of Navy watercolor pencil and a Blender Pen. Once adhered together the piece is popped on the background embossed panel. A stamp from Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and cropped using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies. It is popped over the focal piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three different sizes of the Glossy Dot Assortment Gems are popped on the card front.

A piece of the Abigail Rose DSP is fussy cut, colored using the same colors as on the card front then adhered to the Basic White panel. The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Abigail Rose DSP adhered to the envelope flap and two flowers are colored to match the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set for the flowers, Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments stamp set for the greeting, and Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Delight for the flourish of dots.

The challenge is the Sunday Stamps Challenge. I chose Real Read, Soft Succulent, and Blackberry Bliss as my colors.

The card base is Blackberry Bliss card stock with the art piece being Basic White card stock. I used Real Red ink to stamp the flowers, Soft Succulent for the leaves, and Blackberry Bliss for the flourish of dots and the greeting. A length of Faux Linen ribbon is wrapped around the art piece and tied in a know.

The inside panel is Basic White card stock with a flower matching the ones on the card front stamped in the corner.

A Basic White medium envelope gets flowers matching the card front and the inside panel stamped on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance Merry Christmas

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance Stamp Set along with the Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder.

Since my card is a fun fold, I have decided to play along in the challenge at Creative Creases Challenge. It is always a fun fold if you like fun folds. I love fun folds but most of the time do not take the time to make them.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base. A panel of Basic White is stamped using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance Stamp Set using Shaded Spruce ink. This panel is then embossed and cut to fit the panel on the card front. Directions for cutting and scoring are at the end of the post. I watched several and I mean several videos on how to do this card before it finally registered in this tired brain. The greeting is stamped in Real Red ink, fussy cut, and popped on the card front. The trees along the bottom above the greeting are punched using the Evegreen Border Punch.

The sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance Stamp Set. It is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink, trees are stamped at the bottom of the Basic White card stock panel. Stars from the Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins is popped on the top of the panel.

A medium white envelope flap gets embossed using the Mountain Forest 3-D Embossing Folder.

Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Beauty Birthday Card

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Beauty DSP, along with the Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set for the greeting and the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set for the inside sentiment.

Freshly Made Sketches is the inspiration for my design today.

I started with a card base from the Stampin’ Up! Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories More Cards & Envelopes. A panel from the Blackberry Beauty DSP is cut and popped in the middle of the card, giving it the allusion of a panel of card stock behind the DSP.

I call it a dandelion is cropped from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Wishes Stamp Set using Rich Razzleberry card stock. It is adhered to the corner of the DSP. A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Rich Razzleberry card stock and matted on a scrap of Gold Foil. Champagne Basic Rhinestones are popped around the card front.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the inside of the card A dandelion is adhered around the sentiment.

An envelope comes with each card in the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.
