Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop-Give Thanks

Welcome!  Here it is the second Tuesday of October and you know what happens on the second Tuesday of each month.  Our team gets together, and we have a team blog hop.  We have some new members joining us this month and that is so great, makes for more beautiful cards to view created by the talented ladies on our team.

The card today is created using several stamp sets, Colorful Seasons stamp set and dies, Pleasant Pheasants, Happy Scenes a really retired Stampin Up set and the Woodlands Embossing Folder along with the Merry Christmas Dies.  The card base is Early Expresso with a Pumpkin Pie mat. The main Crumb Cake mat is embossed using the Woodlands Embossing Folder.  A pumpkin was stamped on the folder before embossing.

Though this is our monthly Team  Blog Hop, I am entering the card in the Paper Players PP413 Challenge for this week.

The leaves are cut using the Framelits Dies from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper.  One leaf is stamped and then die cut.  The bow is a Mary Deatherage bow.  She is the one who showed us how to make it.  The bow is adhered to the bunch of leaves with a Glue Dot.

The Pumpkin is colored using Pumpkin Pie  and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.  The greeting  is stamped in Pumpkin Pie on a scrap of So Saffron and then cut using the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies.  It is popped on the Woodlands panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A Faceted Dot is attached to the corner of the greeting label.

The inside sentiment is from Pleasant Pheasants stamp set. It is stamped in Pumpkin Pie on a panel of Whisper White and to give the inside panel art work, a scene from the stamp set Happy Scenes was stamped at the bottom of the sentiment panel. Watercolor pencils were used to color the scene.

Thanks for stopping by.  My wish is that you found encouragement and inspiration for your creations.  Return often.

  1. Your cluster of leaves is just fabulous! I love these dies and the variety you can get out of them. I hadn’t tried it with that glimmer paper – it looks stunning! Great choice of embossing folder too – just the right texture for this card. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week.

  2. Don’t you just love it when you can use so many stamps sets to make a beautiful card? Oh, but the clean up…lol! Your peek-a-boo pumpkin is so cute. I love the happy scene inside too.

  3. Oh wow! Love the pumpkin stamped in the woods – simply perfect. And your leaves are gorgeous! 🙂
