Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery

Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery

Happy Sunday.  Are you enjoying the beautiful sunshine and blue sky?  It is a beautiful day here.

The card today features the Forever Greenery DSP and the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder.  Together they make for a simple and easy card.  To me, sometimes simple and easy cards can be the most time-consuming I find.

My design inspirations comes from the Try Stamping On Tuesday Challenge.

Start with a Pretty Peacock card stock card base. Cut a panel of Pear Pizzazz card stock and emboss using the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere to card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a panel of Forever Greenery DSP and then cut again diagonally to get the above design.

A short strip of Pretty Peacock card stock is cropped using a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  This is adhered about 3/4 down the card from on the right side across the embossed panel into the DSP.  Crop a Pretty Peacock card stock circle using the Layering Circle Dies and a circle from Basic White card stock using the Stitched Shapes Dies. On the white circle stamp, a greeting from Grace’s Garden Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock ink. Pop on the card front over the Pretty Peacock strip using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Pop three Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the card front.

The sentiment panel is a panel of Pear Pizzazz card stock with the portion cut from the Forever Greenery DSP on the card front adhered to the right corner.

The medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Forever Greenery DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

Happy Saturday to all!

Today’s card is created using the Quite Curvy Stamp Set and Dies. The Punch Party Stamp Set is also used for a portion of the greeting.

My inspiration comes from Seize the Birthday – 3 Shades of Green

This is a one-card stock card, usually, there is more than one color used but today it is white only.

A panel of the Basic White card stock is embossed using the Pinewood Plank 3D Embossing Folder and adhered to the Basic White card stock base after being cropped using a die from the Curvy Dies.

Birds from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers. (the colors can be seen at the end of the post where products used are listed)

A sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock

A medium Basic White envelope gets the leaves from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set stamped on the envelope flap in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and then colored with the same markers as the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Wings

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Wings

Good Morning all!  It is Friday, again, seems it was just here.  For retired people, it should make no difference what day it is but somehow it seems to make that difference.

My card today is featuring the wonderful, beautiful dies that come with the Butterfly Brillance Stamp Bundle.  They are called Butterfly Wings.  Beautiful butterflies can be cropped using these dies.  When I see butterflies or create a card using butterflies, I think of my niece who left this earth much too young.  She loved butterflies and maybe it was so because her name was so related to the outside world — Stormie Woods.

My design layout is inspired by the Tuesday Morning Sketches.

This is a very easy card for today.  Start with a Bermuda Bay card stock base, add a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP that has been cropped using a Stitched With Whimsy Dies.

Crop another panel using a smaller Stitched With Whimsey Dies to pop over the Vellum card stock butterflies cropped using a Butterfly Wings Dies.  Color the edges of the butterflies using a Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Marker. Adhere a dot of Multipurpose Glue to the dark tip of the butterfly wings to hold them in place.

Crop the smallest Stitched With Whimsy Die, stamp the greeting from Grace’s Garden Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay ink on the cropped label.  Pop a Pearl Basic Jewel on the greeting and two others around the card front. The card front is now finished.

The sentiment panel is left blank for a note except for the side border of butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou DSP

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts

Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts

Good morning, I hope everyone’s week has gone great.  My week has been pretty busy, not even card-making time and you know how it is with a card addiction, but life happens and we deal with it.

Today’s card is for a dear, dear friend that lost her husband and then her daughter four days later.  She has been so grief-stricken that she doesn’t want people calling her and won’t answer her phone.  She is a lovely ole lady with flaming red hair still.

Today’s card features the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set.  I hope this set is around for a long, long time because it has such wonderful sentiments.  I also used the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder and the 2021-2022 Designer Series Paper that was available when someone joined during Sale-A-Bration.  Being a demonstrator I had the opportunity for a short while to purchase this DSP.

Design inspiration comes from Try Stampin’ On Tuesday.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of Basic Black card stock as the mat for the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder used to emboss the Basic White panel.

I used dies from the Layering Ovals Dies to crop the two ovals for the greeting. One is from the new 2021-2022 DSP the other that the greeting is stamped on in Garden Green ink is from a panel of Basic White card stock.  A length of black ribbon is wrapped between the Basic White card stock and the DSP and a bow is made to pop on.

Hearts are cropped using a die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies to create the shamrocks.  The hearts may be the negative portion of the hearts I have inside on the sentiment panel may be the negative portion, I guess it is according to you think of it.  The three scalloped strips from Basic White card stock at the bottom of the front panel are cut with an old, old and I mean old pair of scissors.  There are more modern ones today.  Three Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped around the card front.

A sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  The hearts are the ones left when I cropped the panel of DSP to get the hearts to create shamrocks.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the 2021-2022 DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden

Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden

Good Day! I hope your day has gone fantastic.  The card I am sharing today features the Dandy Garden DSP and the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set for the sentiment.

The card has a Basic White card stock card base with a Basic Black card stock mat used as the background panel for the 6 individual pieces cut from Dandy Garden DSP.

My design is inspired by the Just Add Ink Challenge which is a sketch challenge.

One of the large dragonflies on the Dandy Garden DSP is fussy cut and popped in the center of the card front. It has been covered with Wink of Stella to give a bit of sparkle.

Hello from any stamp set can be used as a greeting.  I can’t remember which stamp set I used. I fussy cut around this one and popped it on the front of the card using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.  Elegant Faceted Gems are popped on the dragonflies.

A sentiment from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of So Saffron card stock and a fussy cut dragonfly is popped in the corner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Dandy Garden DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
