Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World

Happy  Day, have a lovely weekend.

My card today features the Beautiful World Stamp Set.

My challenge inspiration design is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches

Start with Mossy Meadow card stock as the card base.  Picking a Mossy Meadow card from the World of Good Memories & More Card Pack.  Trim to the desired size. Mat using Basic White card stock, then adhere to the card base.  Pick another card from the World of Good Memories & More Card Pack. Trim to the desired size and mat on Night of Navy card stock.

Make a faux mat using a scrap of Basic White card stock.  Adhere this panel over the Mossy Meadow panel.  Cut a strip of Night of Navy card stock and antique the edges by tearing the edge of the paper toward you as you tear it.  Stamp the greeting on a small strip of Crumb Cake card stock and do the edges the same as the Night of Navy strip.  Pop three stars from the Star Designer Elements over the Night of Navy strip.  Fussy cut one of the golden worlds from one of the cards in the World of Goods Memories & More Card Pack and mat on a circle of Night of Navy.

Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Stamp the world in Night of Navy ink using one of the world stamps from the Beautiful World Stamp Set.

Give a medium Basic White envelope a panel of 2021-2022 Incolor 6″ x 6″ DSP to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Whale of A Time

Stampin’ Up! Whale of A Time

Happy, rainy, soggy day!

The card I am featuring today is created using the Whale of A Time. It is amazing how you get stuck on some stamp set or DSP and continue to make cards from the same set because you feel it is your favorite and you have so many others that you have barely made one card with it.  That is why I decided to use this today, I have maybe used it once and it will probably be one of the sets that gets retired soon.

My inspiration for today’s card is the Sunday Stamps Challenge.  Getting Blocked.  I like both these designs and could not resist creating for both designs.

Start with a card base of Pretty Peacock, add a panel of Whale of A Time DSP that has been matted on a Basic White card stock panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut three Basic White card stock panels for mats that will be adhered to the three panels cropped from Whale Of A Time DSP using one of the smaller Stitched Rectangle Dies. After being adhered to the Basic White mats, adhere to the background panel.  Fussy cut a turtle from a panel of the Whale Of A Time DSP and pop on the card front between two of the panels.

The greeting is stamped on a scrap of the Whale Of A Time DSP in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and then cropped using one of the small dies from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  It is matted on a scrap of Basic White card stock and popped over the panels on the card front.

Use a panel of the Whale Of A Time DSP that matches the card front for the inside sentiment panel.

The medium Basic White envelope gets the other half of the panel of Whale Of A Time DSP added to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Silhouette Scenes

Stampin’ Up! Silhouette Scenes

Good Morning, everyone, I hope your week will be everything you want it to be.

Today’s card features an old favorite from the Annual Catalog.  Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set is my choice for an anniversary card for my grandson and his wife.  I am also using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder, the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

My inspiration for today’s challenge is the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge — Kath’s Challenge All Things Feminine.

Start with a Bermuda Bay card stock card base with a panel of the same embossed using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.  Adhere to the card base.

Crop a panel from the Flower & Field DSP using the next to largest dies from the Stitched Rectangle Dies and crop one from Oh So Ombre DSP using the largest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  Stamp the image of the man and woman from the Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the Oh So Ombre Panel. Adhere the two panels at an angle over the embossed panel.

Crop three Real Red card stock “love” words using the Well Written Dies.  Adhere the three together and adhere to the card front. The hearts framing the image are from the stash of hearts saved when cropping a die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

The sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Oh So Ombre DSP.  Three red hearts are adhered around the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the  Flower & Field 6″ x 6″ DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! True Love

Stampin’ Up! True Love

Happy Saturday everyone! Was your week so busy it left no time for card making?  My week was a very busy one, with either taking my son to the doctor or the hospital. We went to these places so often the past week, I believe the Suburban learned the way so well it could drive all by itself to these places. Today, I will make cards and do all the other things needing to be done — like cleaning– taxes🙄, taxes!  Have a fun, relaxing weekend doing your favorite things.

My card today features the beautiful flowers of the True Love DSP with the greeting from the Very Versaille Stamp Set.  I colored them using Purple Posy, Granny Apple Green, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.

My design layout is inspired by the sketch from Sunday Stamps Challenge.  I used the layout on the right, but maybe I will get to do the one on the right also if things work out well.

After coloring the flowers, I cut the panel in half making two panels, then I cut a short piece from the top of one and the bottom of the other.  These were mounted onto Basic Black card stock for a mat. Next, after matting, the pieces are arranged on the card front.

A greeting from the Very Versaille Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink, fussy cut, and popped on the lower portion of the card using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Two colored flowers have been added in the lower right corner.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the  2021-2022 Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Happy Monday, it is going to be a beautiful day, even if the dreaded pollen is being to appear.  That pollen will be with us for a while and it interferes with being outside.

Yesterday’s card featured the Forever Greenery DSP that comes with the Forever Fern Suite.  Today the stamp set Forever Fern is featured.  The greeting and sentiment are from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set.  I am hoping this Happy Thoughts set carries over to the next catalog.

My design inspiration is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

Start with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same cropped using the largest Stitched Rectangle Die and embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

Crop three rectangles using one of the smaller Stitched Rectangle Dies, then stamp three different images from the Forever Fern Stamp Set in Garden Green, Rich Razzleberry, and Pear Pizzazz ink.

A greeting from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and then cropped using one of the smallest Stitched Rectangle Dies.

A sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White card stock panel.  An image from the Forever Fern Stamp Set is stamped in the upper left corner in Rich Razzleberry ink.  Look at the difference between the two images, It must be something with the camera that causes the one at the top to look this way.  Anyone know the cause let me know, please.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Forever Greenery DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
