Stampin’ Up! Pampered Pets

Stampin’ Up! Pampered Pets

Happy Day!

I get to spend the day with my son who has been in the hospital for two weeks.  We were not allowed to visit during that time.  It is terrible to have someone in the hospital and not get to visit. Happy he is home so that we can visit.

I am sharing the Pampered Pets Stamp Set with you today.  I am happy it carried over to the new catalog because this is the first time I have used the stamp set.  I’ve used the DSP to make cards before but not the stamp set.

A Printed Label Dies is used to crop a Real Red and Basic White circle.  The red and white are adhered together and popped on the card front over the bands.

A dog is fussy cut from one of the panel of the Playful Pets DSP and then popped over the red circle.

My design inspiration comes compliments of the Fusion Card Challenge.  I used the design on the left and a dog but no thank you as this is a birthday card for a special person.

I started with a Basic White card stock base adding a panel of Real Red card stock for the mat to the Playful Pets DSP.  Two strips of DSP are matted onto Real Red card stock and Basic White card stock and adhered across the card front like a band.  A greeting from the Pampered Pets Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock.  It is then cropped using one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue it is popped on the card front below the circle.  A red Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewel is adhered to the greeting panel.

A panel of the Playful Pets DSP is cropped using one of the dies from the Curvy Dies, it is then adhered to a panel of Basic White card stock and a sentiment from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink below the cropped panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Playful Pets DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

I hope you have had a fun Friday and planning a fun weekend.  Seems I was just saying that. Has it been that long between posts?

I am using the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Stamp Set to create the card I am sharing today.  This is a wonderful stamp set but it will be retiring in a few days so I want to use it before it retires.

This is a new challenge for me.  I think this is the first time I have seen it but I always love Tic Tac Toe Challenges and so happy I found the Creative Knockout Challenge.

The design for this challenge comes from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

I started with a Basic White card stock base, adding a panel of the same embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder, retiring May 4, but this is one embossing folder I will continue to use.  It is the best, in my opinion, embossing folder Stampin’ Up! has ever offered.  It may retire, but I will be using it for years to come.  This embossed panel is matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock.

A circle of Basic White card stock is cropped using the next to largest die from the Stitched Layering Dies.  A flower garland from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped at the top of the circle in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.  This garland is colored using Dark & Light Rococo Rose and Dark & Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A greeting from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set is stamped inside the cropped circle using Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  A circle is cropped  using a die from the Layering Circle Dies and used to mat the art piece circle.

A garland from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped at the top and bottom of the Basic White sentiment panel, colored with the same Markers as the art piece for the card front.

The Basic White medium envelope gets a garland of the flowers stamped on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments with True Love

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments with True Love

It is a rainy day in Georgia!  Hopefully, Sunday will be sunny and warm.  Today is a chilly one.  Any plans for the next two days. Thank you to the people who work weekends to make my life easier and safer.

Easy card today, but it sure is taking me a long time to get to my blog posting, I accidentally deleted my Stampin’ Up! folder with all my files of SU.  Boy was I in a panic!  I search on the internet and found how to recover it.  I had it all saved on a Flash Drive.  Do not ask how I did it all I know is I have my files again even if it did take me 5 hours to accomplish it.  I even asked on our group page if anyone knew how to recover but no success, I guess all are like me and mostly know computer basics.  What a relief.

My card features True Love DSP, Quite Curvy Stamp Set, and Beautiful Moments Stamp Set.  I started with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.  After all the other element were popped on this embossed panel it was adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

My inspiration design comes from the My Favorite Things Challenge.

I cut a strip of the True Love DSP and adhered down the left side of the card front.  A circle for the greeting was cropped using the Stitched Circle Dies. The greeting is from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set.  I colored flowers from the True Love DSP using Pineapple Punch, Pale Papya, and Mint Macaron.  They were fussy cut as there are no dies for these beautiful flowers.

A bird from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and fussy cut, I know there are dies, but it was such a small piece.  It is colored using the same markers as the flowers.  A dragonfly is fussy cut from the Dragonfly Garden DSP and popped on the card front with two of the Holiday Rhinestones added to it. One of the rhinestones is also popped above the greeting.

More flowers from True Love DSP are colored and fussy cut and adhered to the sentiment panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the True Love DSP.  The DSP matches the flowers on the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Thoughts Are Quite Curvy

Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Thoughts Are Quite Curvy

Happy Friday everyone, do you have great plans for the weekend? Or is it just a time to rest and relax and preparing for the coming week?  For me rest, sitting with an ill person all week is so tiring especially when you are an old person, but I would have it no other way.  Have a fun weekend whatever you choose to do.

My card today features two of my favorite stamp sets, Quite Curvy and Tranquil Thoughts.  This was an easy card to create, but I changed the design for the art piece three times before I was satisfied with how it looked. Have you ever had that happen?

My inspiration for today’s card is the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #412.

Start with a Basic White card stock base. Layer a panel of Basic White card stock embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to the card base using Multipurpose Glue.

Colorwash a panel of Basic White card stock using Seaside Spray ink and a Blending Brush.  These brushes make color washing so easy.  The ink seems to glide onto the card stock.  After coloring, cut three strips and mat using Night of Navy card stock.  Adhere to the embossed panel.

Crop an oval using the largest one from the Stitched Shape Dies. Stamp the garland of flowers from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink onto the oval.  Color using Rococo Rose and Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends Markers. Stamp a greeting from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink between the garlands on the oval.

Crop a Basic White card stock butterfly using a Brilliant Wings Die and color wash with Highland Heather ink.  Pop onto the oval.

The first oval I cropped ended up being too small for the card front so I am using it on the sentiment panel for the greeting.  The greeting is from the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. Adhere the oval to the panel, then stamp using black ink the garland from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set above and below the oval. Color using Stampin Blends in the same color as the front.

The medium Basic White envelope flap gets a panel of Oh So Ombre DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Fine Art Floral

I hope your Wednesday is joyful and cheery as you go through your day.  May you find favor with everyone.

My card today is featuring the Quite Curvy Stamp Set and the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper.  This is an easy card to make.

CraftyHazelnut’s Pattern Paper Challenge is one of my challenges for the day as a Designer Series Paper is being featured.

This is one of my challenges for the day.  Through the Craft Room Door.

Start with a card base of Poppy Parade card stock. To the base add a panel of Basic White card stock as one of the layers.

Crop a panel of the Fine Art Floral DSP using one of the Curvy Dies.  Mat the two pieces on a panel of Old Olive card stock

Stamp a greeting from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set onto the Old Olive card stock section between the two pieces of the Fine Art Floral DSP.  Place Rhinestone Basic Jewels randomly over the front of the card.

A sentiment from the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Old Olive ink on a Basic White card stock panel.  A flower from the same set is stamped in the corner using Old Olive and Poppy Parade ink.  It is then adhered to the card base.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Fine Art Floral DSP applied to the envelope flap.
