Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Flower & Field

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Flower & Field

Happy Thursday everyone.  I hope your day is going perfectly along as today is the first day of the rest of your life.😊

My card today features the Quite Curvy Stamp & Die Bundle and Happy Thoughts Stamp Set.  This again is a simple and easy card.

The inspiration for my card today is the CAS Colors & Sketch Challenge.

The card base is Basic White card stock with two mats for the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper one of Basic Black card stock and the other Basic White card.

A panel of the Flower & Field DSP is cropped using one of the dies from the Curvy Dies. It is matted to the Basic White card stock.

The greeting is from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. A portion of the stamp was masked as I only wanted the “Thinking of You” portion. I made the mistake of adhering the Flower & Field DSP to the Basic White card stock before it was embossed.  It was quite tricky embossing so I did not get the embossing on the flower panel. The embossing is done using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I thought the embossing turned out rather well.

The sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock panel.  The panel has a Basic Black card stock mat.  The remaining portion of the cropped panel of the Flowers & Field DSP on the card front.

The medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Flower & Field DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

Happy weekend!

The Quite Curvy Stamp Set is the featured stamp set for today.

My inspiration is from the Academy ScrapArt Challenge January 2021.  Their theme for this challenge is Black & White

I love creating black & white cards. They always look so elegant.  This was a simple card to make.  I made two since they were so quick to make.

Start with a Basic White card stock card base.  Mat a panel of True Love DSP on a panel of Basic Black card stock and adhere to the card base.

Crop a panel of Basic Black card stock using a die from the Curvy Dies.  Using Whisper White Craft ink stamp the greeting using a stamp from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set.  Part of the stamp was masked as I only wanted the “thinking of you” portion.

Fussy cut one of the flowers from the True Love DSP and adhere to the corner of the Basic Black cropped panel.

Stamp a greeting from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock that has been matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock.  A flower from the True Love DSP  is fussy cut and popped in the corner.

The medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the True Love DSP added to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

Hard to believe it is Thursday already, seems it was here only yesterday!

My card today features the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Stamp Set (available to customers January 2021) along with Stampin’ Up! Plaid Tiding DSP (retiring), the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Borders Dies, and the Stampin’ Up! Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (available to customers January 2021).

My design inspiration is from the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Challenge

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is adhered to the card base after all the elements are popped on the embossed panel.

The Stampin’ Up! Plaid Tidings DSP strip down the middle has a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock border created using the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Borders Dies.  This strip is adhered down the middle of the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set and is stamped on Whisper White card stock and then flagized (is that a word?) on each end.  The flowers are from Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Stamp Set.  They are colored using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Markers in Light Old Olive and Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo.

The inside panel is left blank except for the flower border from the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Stamp Set.

The envelope flap gets the flower border stamped on it also.

Quite Curvy with Autumn Goodness

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy with Autumn Goodness

Enjoy the rain today if you are in our part of the country.  Good day for staying inside. Walk up and down the hall to get your steps in or do you like to walk in the rain, I always have, the child in me I suppose.

The card today is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness Stamp Set. They go well together.

Inspiration for this card comes from three different challenges — Just Us Girls – Word Week

Sunday Stamps – Fall Leaves

And Stella Says Sketch

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso card stock. To form the triangles I embossed a panel of the Early Espresso using the Stampin’ Up! Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Glue.  I cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper and then cut diagonally. I matted it on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee card stock. This triangle was also adhered using Multipurpose Glue.

The leaf garland from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is adhered down the middle of the two triangles.  The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock circle with the art piece from Autumn Goodness Stamp Set is cropped using Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies. The greeting is stamped in Early Espresso ink on the art piece and at the bottom of the card front.  Several rhinestones from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels is scattered randomly around the card front.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness Stamp Set is stamped in Early Espresso ink on the Whisper White card stock panel.  The same artwork as the card front is stamped in the corner and colored using the same colors.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!
