Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ up! Peaceful Deer stamp set and Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper.  I also used the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder.

I am inspired by the layout of this challenge, so I am entering today.

I started with embossing a panel of Soft Succulent card stock with the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder.  This panel was adhered to the card base of the same.

I cut a piece of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper and matted on a piece of Evening Evergreen card stock.  This piece is adhered over the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut another piece of Designer Series Paper from Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and matted it on a piece of Evening Evergreen also.  It is adhered over the pine cone piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A piece of Basic White card stock is cropped using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer stamp set is stamped in Real Red ink onto the Basic White circle.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Framed & Festive stamp set is stamped in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Two pinecone bouquets are fussy cut from a panel of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper and adhered in corners of the panel. The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace with Boughs of Holly and Very Best Occasions

Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace with Boughs of Holly and Very Best Occasions

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace, Peaceful Deer, and Very Best Occasions stamp sets along with the Wintery 3D Embossing Folder.I am entering the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge for today’s card.I am also entering The Paper Funday Challenge.

I started with a Basic White card base to this I added a layer of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper.  Over this piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper, I adhered a different pattern of the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper over the Shaded Spruce piece.

I cut a piece of Basic White card stock and embossed it using the Wintery 3D Embossing Folder.  I added a Shaded Spruce border which is a pattern from the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper.  I adhered this over the poinsettia piece.

I cut a 1-1/4″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper, a different pattern than the ones I had already used. I adhered it at the bottom of the embossed panel.  I gave it a little border using a Shaded Spruce piece from Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper. I fussy cut a poinsettia from a panel of the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and popped it over the embossed panel.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer stamp set is stamped in Real Red ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, flagged on the end and the corner is tucked under the poinsettia using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a Stampin’ Dimensional on the flagged end.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set is stamped in Real Red on a panel of Basic White card stock.  The panel is matted to match the card front.  It is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions stamp set stamped in Real Red ink on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer Merry Christmas

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer Merry Christmas

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer stamp set.

I am joining the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge.  Their theme for the challenge is Christmas.  I have a Christmas card.

I am also joining the Krafty Chicks Challenge — their theme is All Occasion and my Christmas card is an occasion.

My card base is Evening Evergreen card stock.  On a panel of Basic White card stock, I stamped in Soft Succulent ink, stamped off once,  the snowflake from Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set.   I then embossed the panel using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  I cut a panel of 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper and adhered over the Basic White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped a deer from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock.  I punched it out using the Deer Builder Punch.  I stamped in Garden Green ink trees from the same stamp set and fussy cut them.  I punch trees from Evening Evergreen card stock using the Evergreen Border Punch.  I cropped a circle from Basic White card stock using a die from the Stylish Shape Dies.

I stamped the greeting in Sweet Sorbet ink on a piece of Basic White card stock, then cropped using a Stylish Shapes Die.  All the elements of the card are assembled on the card base and Rhinestone Basic Jewels are colored using Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Marker and popped around the card.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer stamp set is stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Snowflakes are stamped in Soft Succulent ink and stamped off once.  A Rhinestone Basic Jewel is added to the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a snowflake from Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set stamped to the envelope flap in Soft Succulent ink.

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Let’s Celebrate

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Let’s Celebrate

Here is another poinsettia, each has been different.  This one is a request from a friend for a blue poinsettia.  She wanted to know if I could make a blue one, I told her I could make any color poinsettia I chose, I am the card creator. I told her I would search Pinterest to see if anyone had made a blue one and I found one by Tina Shaw.  Again, the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set is the stamp set used.

My inspiration for today is the Just Add Ink Challenge.  The theme is Foil-Glimmer-Shimmer.  I believe my card is all three.

And  Watercooler Wednesday Tristan’s Challenge All About Occasions.  My occasion is birthday.

I started with a Balmy Blue card stock base.  It is the regular card cut, but since this is an easel card there is another layer that is almost like a regular card.  It is Pacific Point card stock cut 4″ x 10″  scored at 5-1/4″ and 7-5/8″ whereas the card base is 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″.

The Pacific Point layer is adhered to the Balmy Blue card stock base.  This creates the easel. See picture above.

I made the DSP layer as I had no snowflake DSP.  I started with a panel of Basic White card stock, stamping snowflakes using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer Stamp Set. I stamped in Versa Mark, sprinkled White Embossing Powder, and heat set.  I then used a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink to color the panel. So I have my snowflake DSP. This panel is adhered to the Pacific Point panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

This is how the card looks when it is stretched open.

To create the poinsettia, using Versa Mark ink, I stamped the images on Basic White card stock, sprinkled White Embossing Powder, and heat set using a heat tool.  Leaves and sprigs were cropped from Basic White, Pacific Point, and Silver card stock. Silver thread is looped on both sides of the poinsettia.  The poinsettia and sprigs are arranged, a picture is taken for reference, and adhered using Glue Dots and Multipurpose Glue.  Pearls Basic Jewels are used to create the center of the poinsettia.

The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer Stamp set and is stamped in Versa Mark on a panel of Balmy Blue card stock, sprinkled with Embossing Powder and heat set. A panel of Pacific Point card stock is fussy cut and used as the mat, the greeting is then popped on the easel panel using Glue Dots.  Holly leaves and sprigs are added to the greeting panel and pears are added to the holly.  A single pearl is popped by the greeting.

The sentiment panel has holly leaves and sprigs added to the corner.  The panel is left blank as requested. She wants to write her own personal birthday message.

A medium Basic White envelope will be used for mailing.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are at the end of this post.
