Amy’s Inkin’ Krew June Team Blog Hop!

Welcome to the June blog hop of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew. We are so glad you are here because you are going to see some awesome projects that the team has created. I hope you enjoy all the ideas and our blog hop. Our theme for this month is “Birthday”. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Krew member’s blog. You will find the full line-up below to help you hop along from Krew member to Krew member. On we go…
My card for the hop is created by using the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set.

I am playing along with the Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper June Challenge for today.
And… Seize the Birthday
The foundation of the card is Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink card stock, cut 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored and folded at 5-1/2″. A panel of Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper is used as a background panel for the 2″ x 4″ panel that is used for the rose mat.
This 2″ x 4″ panel is bordered using the Stampin’ Up! Delicate Lace Dies to cut the lacy pieces from a strip of Whisper White card stock. The wild rose is stamped on a 3″ square of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Stampin’ Blends Light Petal Pink marker, Stampin’ Blends Light Flirty Flamingo marker, Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils in Melon Mambo and Real Red.
The leaves are cut from a panel of the Bird Ballad DSP. A bow is made and popped on the card using Stampin’ Up! Baker’s Whisper White Twine. The greeting from Stampin’ Up! Well Said Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento black ink on a small square of Whisper White card stock.
The inside sentiment is the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.
In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the floral theme of the card. I gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad DSP. A rose is stamped in the lower left corner of the envelope and colored with the same markers and pencils as the rose on the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Stamp Set is used for my creation today. I hope everyone had a great weekend! We did! Since our fearless leader moved off to New Jersey and left us we had a meeting at another team member’s home on Sunday and our leader had a meeting with us via the internet — isn’t technology grand! Here she was in her beautiful and I do mean beautiful new home especially her craft room with another bunch of ladies, she had already replaced all of us — SMILE! No, it was the part of our team that lives in New Jersey and isn’t God good to send her where she already has a huge bunch of friends. He doesn’t want her to be lonely. We miss you Amy but know you are starting a new adventure and that you will be well taken care of by that part of our team, we are so happy for you but not that you are gone! Take good care of her “ya’ll”! Well, that’s enough whining on to the card.

My card uses some new some old. New is the Stampin’ Up! Garden Lane DSP. The old is all the remaining products, some like the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Dreams and Incredible Like You stamp sets will be retiring June 3.

My card is created using the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. As you can see a very simple easy card to create.

The card front and the butterfly panel have been embossed using the Stampin’ UP! Subtle Embossing Folder. A butterfly from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits is used to cut the butterfly in the center of the square. It is then returned to its place and a scrap of Stampin’ Up! Lovely Lipstick card stock is adhered behind it to show the Lovely Lipstick color through the butterfly.
The heart and the word LOVE are also cut from Lovely Lipstick and adhered or popped on with Liquid Multipurpose Glue or Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three pearls from the Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels Assortment is scattered over the card front.
The inside sentiment is stamped on a panel of Whisper White using the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set.
