Amy’s Inkin’ Krew June Team Blog Hop!

Welcome to the June blog hop of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew.  We are so glad you are here because you are going to see some awesome projects that the team has created.   I hope you enjoy all the ideas and our blog hop.  Our theme for this month is “Birthday”.   You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Krew member’s blog.  You will find the full line-up below to help you hop along from Krew member to Krew member.   On we go…

My card for the hop is created by using the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set.

I am playing along with the Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper June Challenge for today.

And… Seize the Birthday

The foundation of the card is Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink card stock, cut 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored and folded at 5-1/2″.  A panel of Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper is used as a background panel for the 2″ x 4″ panel that is used for the rose mat. This 2″ x 4″ panel is bordered using the Stampin’ Up! Delicate Lace Dies to cut the lacy pieces from a strip of Whisper White card stock.  The wild rose is stamped on a 3″ square of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Stampin’ Blends Light Petal Pink marker, Stampin’ Blends Light Flirty Flamingo marker,  Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils in Melon Mambo and Real Red. The leaves are cut from a panel of the Bird Ballad DSP.  A bow is made and popped on the card using Stampin’ Up!  Baker’s Whisper White Twine.  The greeting from Stampin’ Up! Well Said Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento black ink on a small square of Whisper White card stock.

The inside sentiment is the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the floral theme of the card.  I   gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad DSP.  A rose is stamped in the lower left corner of the envelope and colored with the same markers and pencils as the rose on the card front.
