Stampin’ Up! Christmas Greenery

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Greenery

Happy Sunday, everyone.  I hope everyone is having a relaxing and fun Sunday doing whatever their heart desires.  To those who have to work on Sunday, thank you.  Today, in Georgia, we are enjoying a partly sunny day.  We’re supposed to get rain later in the week, and wouldn’t you know it, it is on the day I have to go to the dentist, so I will have to fight the 100% we are supposed to get.  But, then you know how the weather is, really can’t tell what it will be.

The card today is a fun card to create.  I like this faux step card design.   Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper does most of the work on this card.  Only the tiny greeting from Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Stamp Set and the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Comforting Thoughts Stamp Set is the only stamping.  I have used this designer series paper for an encouragement card instead of a Christmas card.  It works well for any card, I think.

Step card cuts

  • Secret Sea cardstock
    • card base – 5-1/2” x 8” score at 3”, 6”, and 7”
    • center step – 3” x 6” score at 4-1/4”
  • Basic White cardstock
    • card base mat — 2-3/4” x 5-1/4”
    • card base step mat — ¾” x 5-1/4″”
    • center step mat – 2-3/4” x 4”
    • inside panel — 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″
    • oval — 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
  • Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper
    • card base – 2-1/2” x 5”
    • card base step mat – ½” x 4-3/4”
    • center step mat – 2-1/2” x 3-3/4”
    • oval card front — 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″

This is how the card will look once you have scored and folded.  I should have taken the picture before I put all the dressings on it, but you can still tell what it looks like from the side once it has been scored and folded.

  1. Add the 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White mat to the card base.
  2. Add the 2-3/4″ x 4″ Basic White mat to the center step.
  3. Add the 3/4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White strip to the card base step.
  4. Next, add the Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper to the Basic White mats.
  5. Attach the long portion of the center step to the card front using adhesive of choice; I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  6. Attach the short end to the back of the card, putting glue only on the bottom of the short end.  If you put it all over the short end, you will not be able to open your card.
  7. Stamp a greeting in Memento Black ink on the Basic White oval using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Stamp Set.
  8. Looking at the above card, arrange the Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper die-cut flowers around the Basic White oval.
  9. Adhere a 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White to the inside of the card base.
  10. Add the 2-1/2″ x 5″ piece of red designer series paper from Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper over the Basic White mat.
  11. Add one of the Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper die-cut flowers to the lower corner.
  12.   This is the back of the card.  A piece of Basic White cardstock is adhered to the card base, and die-cut flowers from Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper is added to the lower right corner.
  13. This is an overhead view of the card.
  14. Adhere a piece of Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper to the flap of a Basic White envelope using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my creations with you each day. I hope and wish you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Have a blessed day!

STAMPIN’ REWARDS CHANGED AS OF  APRIL 15, 2025

Stampin’ Up! updated their Rewards Program beginning mid-April!

The current Stampin’ Rewards program that Stampin’ Up!  had for many years went away on April 15, 2025.
Bottom line? You will now be able to earn Stampin’ Rewards on smaller orders!
Here’s the details:

  • You will not have to place a large order of $150+ to earn free product, as it was with the previous Stampin’ Rewards system.
  • On April 15,  2025, and moving forward, you will earn 10% rewards with orders of $20+!! So…for example, when you place an order of $50 you’ll earn a $5 reward to use the next time you shop!
  • You can save your rewards for up to a year! So, you can spend them on a future order all at once or a little at a time.  Boom!
  • Additionally, the “host code” is going away….so, as of April 15, 2025, you will not need to apply my current host code to your order.

What should you know now to prepare for these changes?
Here are a few things that you can do to make the transition to the new program as smooth as possible:

  • You DO need to have a Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com so you can earn and redeem rewards.
    • I will NOT be able to create and manage customer accounts. I can still help you with ordering if you need me to, but, because of stricter banking policies and data/privacy laws, you’ll need to officially be in charge of your own customer account for earning & redeeming rewards.  So make sure you’re able to log in at stampinup.com.
  • NOTE! You must “opt in” to the program to earn and redeem Stampin’ Rewards.  When you place your first order after  April 15 – you’ll have the chance to “Opt In”.  That’s a good time to do it so you’ll earn Rewards on THAT order!  But – if you decide NOT to at that point – you can always do it on a future order!
  • Don’t want a Stampin’ Up! online store account?? You can still have me place your order for you!  You won’t get the Stampin’ Rewards directly – they’ll come to me and I’ll apply them to a future order for you.
  • If you DO NOT want to “Opt in” to the rewards program, you don’t have to – you can still place orders, but be aware that you won’t receive the Stampin’ Rewards for your purchases.

Again these changes will began  April 15, 2025.  Let me know if you have any questions.
