I started with a Mint Macaron card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder. A panel of Garden Green card stock is cut for a mat for the Hand Penned card. The card is cropped using a Stitched So Sweetly Die. The negative portion is matted on the Garden Green panel then the cropped panel is popped back into the negative space.
A greeting from the Hand Penned Memories & More Card Pack is popped on the card front.
A sentiment from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set is stamped in Mint Macaron ink on a panel of Basic White and a flower from the card pack is popped in the corner.
A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of DSP from the 2021-2022 Subtle 6″ x 6″ DSP. The DSP matches the flowers on the card front.

Mat for art piece — 3″ x 4-1/8″

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog today. I hope you enjoy my card today.
My design inspiration for today is the Sketch Saturday Challenge.
The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style Stamp Set along with the Ornate Layers Dies.
I started with a Mint Macaron card stock base layering a panel of the new Fresh Freesia card stock (available May 4 to customers). It is cropped using the largest die from the Ornate Layers Dies. A panel of Ornate Garden DSP is layered over the Fresh Freesia card stock panel. A panel of Basic White is cropped using another Ornate Layers Dies and layered over the Ornate Garden DSP.
The large spray of flowers from the Ornate Style Stamp Set is stamped using Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock, then colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, and Blackberry Bliss. Linen Thread is looped around the card front a few times and the spray of flowers is popped over it using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set is stamped on a tag cropped using the Ornate Frame Dies. A bow from Linen Thread is tied onto the tag. Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are placed around the card front and in the upper right corner of the Ornate Garden DSP.
The Basic White sentiment panel is left blank except for a strip of the Ornate Garden DSP.
A medium Basic White envelope gets poppies stamped on the flap and colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers as the card front.

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you are having a restful, peaceful day.
The Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set,and The Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set (available May 4 to customers) to create the card I am sharing with you today.
My design inspiration is from Addicted To Stamps – Birthdays is the theme.
The Fusion Card Challenge for the design. I reversed the card making it portrait instead of landscape. I used both the design and the theme of poppies. Poppies are special to me so I am happy to see a card using it and happy Stampin’ Up! gives us another stamp set with poppies.
I started with a Basic White card stock card base adding a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Glue. A greeting from the Here’s A Card Stamp Set (retiring) was stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink before embossing.
I stamped poppies using Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White Thick card stock from two stamp sets, The Flowers of Friendship (available May 4 to customers) along with the current Painted Poppies. I am so happy it is carrying over to the next catalog.
I colored the poppies using Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. The 1-1/2″ Basic White squares with the poppies from Painted Poppies are matted on a strip of DSP adhering to the right side of the card front after coloring. The other poppies from both stamp sets are fussy cut after coloring and arrange in the Petal Pink pitcher. Some are popped on with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and some are adhered using Glue Dots.
A greeting from the Prettiest Birthday Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White that has poppies stamped and colored across the bottom of the panel.
A medium Basic White envelope gets poppies stamped on the flap and colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers as the card front.

One day maybe I can get back to a regular schedule of posting my blogs for now I post when I have a free minute and sometimes that minute can take all day. So I post when I can. Pray things will return to normal one day.
I used the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set to create this card. It is a CAS(E) of Tina Gillespie’s OnStage Sydney presentation. Click here to see her card. She created a beautiful card and I had to create one.
My challenge inspiration for today is The Card Concept — Loads of Lavender. The lavender is my inspiration.
I started with a Night of Navy card base – 4 1/4″ x 8″ – scored at 1 1/4″ and 2 1/2″ from each short end – then folded in a “Z”. I watercolored a panel of Basic White Thick card stockusing Balmy Blue ink, Crumb Cake ink, and a Water Painter. After the watercolor dried, I stamped a greeting in Tuxedo Memento Black ink along with the birds. I then cut panels and adhered to the card base.
I stamped the images from Beautiful Moments Stamp Setin Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock and colored using Highland Heather,Granny Apple Green, Rococo Rose(soon to be retired) and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.
After coloring, I fussy cut the images, using the largest to create the bridge on the card. The other lilacs, I adhered in the background and around the base of the water.
The backside of the card has a Basic White card stock panel stamped with the lilacs from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set. They are colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers.
No envelope was created as I plan on keeping this card.

Do I say Happy Pollen Day or Happy Thursday, either way, we are covered up in pollen. I suppose that is the price of having beautiful flowers and trees that bloom in the spring.
My card today features my favorite DSP that will be retiring soon, so I want to use it while I can.
My inspirations are from two challenges today.
Just Us Girls. Their challenge this week is Stripes.
And..
Tuesday Morning Sketches with a great sketch challenge for the week. These two challenges combine very well for my creation today.
I started with a Basic Black card stock base adding a layer of True Love DSP matted with Basic White card stock.
I cut a panel of True Love DSP that has flowers, cropped a circle from the middle using Layering Circle Dies, and then colored using Rococo Rose, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue, Soft Suede and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. Once colored, I popped it back over the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The cropped panel was matted on a Basic White card stock panel before popping the circle back in.
I adhered the colored panel to the card front, popped three pearls from Pastel Pearls to the lower left of the card front. I stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink a greeting from Here’s A Card Stamp Set on a scrap of Basic White card stock and flagged one end, then popped on the lower right corner.
The inside is left blank for a note as this is a thank you card. I did add a strip of the True Love DSP and curved it up the page a bit.
A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the True Love DSP added to the flap.
