Stampin’ Up! Pansy Petals

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Petals

Happy Tuesday, may your day be perfect as can be.

The card I am sharing today is super easy and is created using the skills I learned in kindergarten, isn’t there a book by that name, “All I Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten”?  Fussy cutting!  The only stamping on today’s card is from the greeting.  The remainder is from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Petals DSP.  The floral panel of small flowers makes for a great background

The design is inspired by the Fab Fri Challenge.

I used one of the new 2021-2023 Incolor card stock, Fresh Freesia, as the card base.  I also used another one, Soft Succulent, as the mat for the floral back panel from Pansy Petals DSP.  These were adhered to the card base.

I cropped a piece of Basic White card stock and a piece of the Soft Succulent card stock using a die from the Tasteful Label Dies. I cut a portion of the Soft Succulent one to make a shadow at the top of the Basic White one.  The Thinking of You greeting from a Paper Pumpkin is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink, this is one of the new incolors also.

Pansies and leaves from the Pansy Petals DSP are fussy cut, the centers get a touch of Wink of Stella and a Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewel added to the center of each pansy.  The pansies are then popped on the card front around the greeting panel.  The card front is finished.

The inside panel for writing a note gets a strip of the Pansy Petal DSP applied to the bottom of the Basic White panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Pansy Petals DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Happy Monday, I hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day and your family treated you extra special.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set, the Stitched With Whimsy  Dies,  the Subtle Embossing Folder, retired but I have a feeling I shall use it often even if that is true.

My inspiration for the layout design today is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  It is a nice clean design.

I started with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder and the Stitched with Whimsy Dies.

A panel of the Basic White card stock is cropped with one of the smaller dies from the Stitched With Whimsy Dies to be the focal panel for the Real Red poppies created using a stamp from the Flowers Of Friendship Stamp Set.  The poppies are colored using Real Red & Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The poppies are fussy cut and popped on the corner of the focal panel.

The greeting is from a Paper Pumpkin kit and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  I cut the words of the greeting apart so I could place them the way I wanted on the focal panel.  The poppies are popped on using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A pearl from the Pearls Basic Jewels is colored with the Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker and popped above the greeting.

A panel of Basic White card stock is stamped with the poppies from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set and are colored using the same Markers used on the card front.  This panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Flowers from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set are stamped on both the envelope front and the envelope flap and colored using the same markers.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style Stamp Set, I realized it retired yesterday after I had it finished. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.  I masked off part of the greeting as I only wanted the Thinking of You.  This card is similar to a card I made a few weeks ago.  You can see it here.

My challenge is with Stamping Sensations — their theme for this challenge is Beautiful Blooms.  I believe my card qualifies as I stamped and colored the flowers from the Ornate Style Stamp Set.  After coloring, I discovered this set is retired.

The card base is Coastal Cabana card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Texture Embossing Folder.  I suppose this will become the go-to folder for embossing now that the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder is retired.

A panel of Hand Penned DSP is cropped using a die from the Scalloped Contours Dies and adhered over the embossed panel.  A panel of Coastal Cabana card stock is cropped using a die from the Ornate Layers Dies.  It is adhered over the cropped Hand Penned DSP panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Flowers from the Ornate Style Stamp Set, now retired, was stamped on a panel of Thick Basic White card stock in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Dark & Light Granny Apple Green, Dark & Light Highland Heather, Light & Dark Balmy Blue, Dark & Light Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  A piece of Basic White card stock is cropped using a die from the Sunflower Dies, cut in half and adhered behind the flower spray. Three jewels from the Holiday Rhinestone Jewels are placed around the card front.

The Basic White sentiment panel is cropped using a die from the Ornate Layers Dies and adhered back into the negative space at the top of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope get a panel of the Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts

Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts

I hope your weekend has been fantastic and the coming well will be as well.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set and the True Love DSP.

Cardz For Galz is one of my challenges for today.

I always love Tic Tac Toe Challenges.  For this one, I am choosing Flowers, Coloring, & Embossing.

The card base is Rococo Rose card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder and then the panel is cropped using a die from the Curvy Dies, these dies will be retiring.  A greeting from the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the corner of the card front.

Flowers from the True Love DSP are colored using Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  An image from the Positive Thoughts stamp set is stamped in Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape inks and fussy cut.  These are used in the arrangement of flowers on the card front.  Linen Thread is looped around a few times and tucked under the arrangement so it is showing.  Pearl Basic Jewels are randomly placed around the card front.

One of the colored True Love DSP flowers is popped in the corner of the sentiment panel.

A Highland Heather envelope is used as the envelope for the card.

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

I hope you have had a fun Friday and planning a fun weekend.  Seems I was just saying that. Has it been that long between posts?

I am using the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Stamp Set to create the card I am sharing today.  This is a wonderful stamp set but it will be retiring in a few days so I want to use it before it retires.

This is a new challenge for me.  I think this is the first time I have seen it but I always love Tic Tac Toe Challenges and so happy I found the Creative Knockout Challenge.

The design for this challenge comes from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

I started with a Basic White card stock base, adding a panel of the same embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder, retiring May 4, but this is one embossing folder I will continue to use.  It is the best, in my opinion, embossing folder Stampin’ Up! has ever offered.  It may retire, but I will be using it for years to come.  This embossed panel is matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock.

A circle of Basic White card stock is cropped using the next to largest die from the Stitched Layering Dies.  A flower garland from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped at the top of the circle in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.  This garland is colored using Dark & Light Rococo Rose and Dark & Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A greeting from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set is stamped inside the cropped circle using Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  A circle is cropped  using a die from the Layering Circle Dies and used to mat the art piece circle.

A garland from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped at the top and bottom of the Basic White sentiment panel, colored with the same Markers as the art piece for the card front.

The Basic White medium envelope gets a garland of the flowers stamped on the envelope flap.

f you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
