Stampin’ Up! Favored Flowers Happy Thoughts

Stampin’ Up! Favored Flowers Happy Thoughts

The card I am sharing today is created using SALE-A-Bration products. SALE-A-Bration products are free with qualifying purchases.  We all like free.  I used Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set for the greeting and sentiment along with Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper and Split Card Texture Dies.

I am entering the Inspire, Create Challenge. The theme for this challenge is New to You.

I am also joining the Make My Monday Challenge, the theme is Something New.

The card base for my card is Basic White card stock.  I took another panel of Basic White card stock and cropped it on both sides of the panel using a die from the Split Card Texture Dies.

Flowers are fussy cut from Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper. The white sprigs are leftovers from another card, I can’t remember the name of the dies I used.  All the elements of the card are arranged on the card base.   A greeting is stamped in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set, matted on a portion of the black from the panel the flowers were fussy cut from and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Pearls from Pastel Pearls are popped around the card front and the inside of the card.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Flowers from a panel of Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper are fussy cut and adhered in the corner of the panel.  A border using scraps from the panel of Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper on the card front adheres to the side and bottom of the panel.  The panel then adheres to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Basic White medium envelopes get a panel of Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend Thank You

Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend Thank You

The card I am sharing today is one you can create in a few minutes if you are in need of a quick card.  The Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (free with $50 purchase starting January 5) does all the work in creating a quick, easy, and beautiful card.  You can do a few tweaks to add to the beauty of the card.  I used, the Timeworn Type 3-D Embossing Folder, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Starry Sky Metallic Woven 1/8″ Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and Wink of Stella.

I am entering the Use Your Stuff Challenge. Their theme for this challenge is Stitching Faux or Real.  As my art piece is cropped using Stitched Rectangle Dies that can be Faux Stitches.

A Starry Sky card stock base is used with a panel of the same card stock embossed using the Timeworn Type 3-D Embossing Folder. The panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A panel of Basic White card stock is used along with another panel of Starry Sky card stock as mats for the art panel, which is a panel of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper, (available January 5 free as a Sale-A-Bration item with a $50 purchase before shipping and taxes.

A Starry Sky Metallic Woven 1/8″ Ribbon is used to create a bow that is popped at the top of the art piece. Several Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels are scattered around the card front.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set is stamped in Starry Sky ink in the center of the art piece.

A swath of flowers from Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper is fussy cut and adhered to the side of the inside panel left blank for a note as this is a thank you card.  The Basic White panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Basic White medium envelopes get a panel of Dainty Floral Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Country Floral Lane

Stampin’ Up! Country Floral Lane

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments stamp set, Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper, Stylish Shape Dies, Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, Wintry 3D Embossing Folder, and Very Best Trio Punch.

I am entering the Alphabet Challenge. Their theme for this challenge is T for Thank You.

My card base is Balmy Blue card stock with a panel Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper matted on a piece of Basic White card stock then adhered to the card base.  A second piece of the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper in a different pattern is cut at an angle, matted on Balmy Blue card stock, then matted on a piece of Basic White card stock, and adhered to the right side of the card front.

A piece of Basic White card stock is punched on each corner using the Very Best Trio Punch, then embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  It is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Hearts from Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set are stamped in Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron on a piece of Basic White card stock. Instead of punching the hearts out, I fussy-cut them.  I punched a heart out of a white piece of glimmer paper from Real Red & White 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper.  I colored the heart using a Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Marker.  Let me just say I ruined my marker.

Leaves and a heart are punched from Vellum using the Country Floral Punch, they are then embossed using the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder.  The greeting is stamped in Mint Macaron ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and cropped using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  It is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Gems from Fine Sparkle Adhesive Back Gems are popped around the card front.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments stamp set is stamped in Balmy Blue ink on a Basic White panel and a heart from Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set is stamped in Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron ink.

Basic White medium envelopes get a panel of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Flurry with Charming Sentiments Perched In A Tree

Stampin’ Up! Joyful Flurry with Charming Sentiments Perched In A Tree

I am entering the Can You Handle The Pressure? Challenge with the Option of Snow.

I am also entering the Global Design Project.  I turned my card portrait instead of landscape.

Also, I  am entering Tuesday Morning Sketches Annual Anything Goes Challenge.

I will say I CASed Karen Ksenzakovic’s card from September 29.  It must have stuck in my memory for I was sure surprised yesterday when I opened her Christmas card and it was almost the same card.  Karen, I must have loved it so that I kept it stored away, thanks. Wanting to give her credit, I looked and looked through her blog thinking, I could find it and it finally dawned on me to put it in search on her blog. Karen’s is the one on the right.

I started with a piece of Soft Succulent card stock, embossing a piece of the same using one of the embossing folders from Wintry 3D Embossing Folders.  I also embossed a piece of Vellum using the same embossing folder.  I cropped a snowflake from the Frosted Flurry Dies from a scrap of Basic White card stock.

I stamped the bird from Stampin’ Up! Perched In A Tree stamp set in Memento Black ink and colored it using Crumb Cake, Soft Succulent, So Saffron, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The branch is colored using a Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I cropped leaves from Copper Foil and from Gold Foil from the Gold & Rose 6′ x 6″ Metallic Speciality Paper.  A snowflake is cropped using a die from the Frosted Flurry Dies.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Joyful Flurry stamp set is stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock and cropped using a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. All the layers and elements are arranged and adhered to the card base using either Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals. Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots are popped around the card front.

On a panel of Basic White card stock, I stamped snowflakes from Stampin’ Up! Joyful Flurry stamp set in Soft Succulent ink in corners of the panel.  I stamped sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set in Soft Succulent ink also, the panel is then adhered to the card base.  Two Brushed Metallic Adhesive Back Dots are popped in the center of the snowflakes.

I suppose you can call this a Fun Fold as it has a bridge for having it stand up easier.  Or maybe it can be called a card with an inside bridge. To create the bridge cut a piece of Soft Succulent card stock 3-1/4″ x 4″, score 3/8″ on each 4″ side then score at 1-5/8″, this will be the middle of the card.  I adhered the 3/8″ side to the bottom of the card using Tear & Tape.

A Basic White medium envelopes get a panel of Texture Chic Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets By My Side with Cottage Rose

Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets By My Side with Cottage Rose

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set, Cottage Rose stamp set, Framed Florets Dies, and Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.  My cards are a CAS of one Mary Deatherage created several weeks ago.  You can find a tutorial and a short video showing how this card is made.  She made hers to be a holder for a Sticky Note pad.  I could never get it to work with the sticky notepads after several tries, so mine became cards instead.

Cut a piece of Soft Succulent card stock 3-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ scoring at 4-1/4″ & 6-3/8″.  The score lines are folded in the same direction so as to create the easel.  Cut mats and Designer Series Paper 1/8″ smaller for both.  You can see this in the picture above.  I used Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper, but you can use whatever Designer Series Paper you wish.

I cropped an oval from a piece of Basic White card stock using one of the oval dies from the Framed Florets Dies.  I fussy cut flowers from a panel of the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.  I cropped a sprig from Soft Succulent card stock and leaves from Basic White card stock and from Gold Glimmer paper.  I cut a piece of Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper matting it on a panel of Melon Mambo card stock.  I then adhered to the fold of the easel using Tear & Tape.

The flowers, leaves, and sprig are arranged around the oval and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Polished Pink Dots are scattered around the card front.  I used Wink of Stella on the flowers, though it does show up in the photos.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock scrap, trimmed and adhered to the card front inside the oval.

This is a picture of the three cards I made using different patterns of Designer Series Paper from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.  It shows the sentiment that also serves as the stop for the easel.  The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock in Memento Black ink, fussy cut then matted on a piece of Melon Mambo card stock.  Stampin’ Dimensionals are added to the back and the piece is placed on the inside of the card to create the stop for the easel.

Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper adhered to the flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
