Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets By My Side with Cottage Rose

Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets By My Side with Cottage Rose

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set, Cottage Rose stamp set, Framed Florets Dies, and Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.  My cards are a CAS of one Mary Deatherage created several weeks ago.  You can find a tutorial and a short video showing how this card is made.  She made hers to be a holder for a Sticky Note pad.  I could never get it to work with the sticky notepads after several tries, so mine became cards instead.

Cut a piece of Soft Succulent card stock 3-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ scoring at 4-1/4″ & 6-3/8″.  The score lines are folded in the same direction so as to create the easel.  Cut mats and Designer Series Paper 1/8″ smaller for both.  You can see this in the picture above.  I used Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper, but you can use whatever Designer Series Paper you wish.

I cropped an oval from a piece of Basic White card stock using one of the oval dies from the Framed Florets Dies.  I fussy cut flowers from a panel of the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.  I cropped a sprig from Soft Succulent card stock and leaves from Basic White card stock and from Gold Glimmer paper.  I cut a piece of Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper matting it on a panel of Melon Mambo card stock.  I then adhered to the fold of the easel using Tear & Tape.

The flowers, leaves, and sprig are arranged around the oval and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Polished Pink Dots are scattered around the card front.  I used Wink of Stella on the flowers, though it does show up in the photos.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock scrap, trimmed and adhered to the card front inside the oval.

This is a picture of the three cards I made using different patterns of Designer Series Paper from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.  It shows the sentiment that also serves as the stop for the easel.  The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock in Memento Black ink, fussy cut then matted on a piece of Melon Mambo card stock.  Stampin’ Dimensionals are added to the back and the piece is placed on the inside of the card to create the stop for the easel.

Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets Birthday Wishes

Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets Birthday Wishes

The card I am sharing today is created using Framed Florets stamp set, Framed Florets Dies, and Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.

I am inspired by the sketch of the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge so I am entering,

My card base is Basic White card stock.  I cut two pieces of Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper adhering to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a strip of Balmy Blue card stock and adhered down the middle of the two different patterns of Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.  I cropped an oval in Basic White card stock using a die from Framed Florets Dies. I cropped another one using Balmy Blue card stock.  The two are adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on the oval that is cut out when using the dies.  It is then adhered back to the Balmy Blue and Basic White ovals and popped over the Balmy Blue strip and Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper. I just realized I left the bling off of the card. Oh! Well!

A panel of Basic White card stock is adhered to a panel of Balmy Blue card stock as the mat, then a fussy cut flower from Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper is adhered to the bottom of the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Stampin’ Up! Framed & Festive

Stampin’ Up! Framed & Festive

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Framed & Festive stamp set.  This stamp set is part of the Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets Bundle but only available until the end of the year.  It does not carry over with the Framed Florets Bundle

I cropped a panel of Basic White card stock using a die from Split Card Dies, embossing it using an embossing folder from Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folders. I layered it onto a panel of Real Red card stock using Tear & Tape.  I then adhered the panel to the Basic White card base.  If you look closely at the top you will see that the panel with the poinsettia on it has been fussy cut and placed to create the split card.  I had the card front finished and in some way, glue appears down the middle of the card. I must have been holding the greenery over the card when applying glue.  So I didn’t have to completely start over, I cut the poinsettia part of the card from the glue mess and adhered it over another panel of the Split card.  Lesson learned do not hold what you are applying glue to over your card.

I fussy cut a poinsettia from Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and popped it over the embossed portion of the split card panel.  I tucked other greenery and two silver twigs around the poinsettia. I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Framed & Festive stamp set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut it and popped in in the lower right corner using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Framed & Festive stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A poinsettia fussy cut from Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper is adhered in the lower right corner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The Basic White panel is then adhered to a Real Red card stock mat.  The two pieces are then adhered to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly

Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly

I am again using Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper to create the card I am sharing today. I love this Designer Series Paper and have used it often and will continue using to create cards as it will be retired come January 2023.  I also used the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder, a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set.

As I am inspired by the Sunday Stamps Challenge card design, I am entering the challenge.

I started with a Basic White card base and embossed a panel of the same using the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder.  After embossing I adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I fussy cut poinsettias from a panel of the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and adhered to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Sprigs of gold and white are tucked under the poinsettias.  Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped over the buds on the Basic White sprigs.

A sentiment from a retired stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Basic White card stock that has been cropped using a die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies.  A fussy-cut poinsettia is adhered in the corner of the panel. The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Vintage Christmas with Very Best Occasion

Stampin’ Up! Vintage Christmas with Very Best Occasion

The card I am sharing today s created using Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper, Wintry 3D Embossing Folder, and Stampin’ Up! Vintage Christmas stamp set for the greeting and various patterns of Santa Express Designer Series Paper.  This card is a CAS of Karen Ksenzakovic of Creative Stampin Designs  Her card is a new fun fold for me so I had to give it a try.  My card is a Christmas card, hers a thank you card.  This is an easy fun fold to create. Thanks, Karen.  Watch Karen’s video, she gives great instructions for creating this card.

I am entering the Festive Friday Twelve Days of Christmas Challenge. I chose Christmas, Red, Fancy Fold, and Gold.

Start with a 5-1/2″ x 8″ piece of Basic White card stock.  The first time I cut the base I forgot it was 8″ and not 8-1/2″ so when I scored imagine my surprise when the panels did not meet in the center.  I thought I must have heard her incorrectly in saying score at 1-1/2″, 2-3/4″ 5-1/4″, and 6-1/2″.  After, listening to it a second time, I realized I had not cut at 8″.

Cut a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock 41/4″ x 5-1/2″ for the base the Basic White card will be adhered to. Adhere a Basic White card stock panel as a mat for a panel of Santa Express Designer Series Paper. Cut a panel of Basic White card stock 2-3/8″ x 5-3/8″. Emboss the panel using the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder. Mat the embossed panel on a 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″  panel of Shaded Spruce card stock.

Cut three pieces of Santa Express Designer Series Paper. Cut 2 pieces 1-1/8″ x 5-38″ and one piece 1-3/8″ x 5-3/8″. Adhere these pieces using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  You only need three pieces because the one panel is where you adhere to the card front.  Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasion stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Mat the panel on a Basic White card stock panel of Shaded Spruce card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhered it to the inside of the card.

Fussy cut flowers from Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper and color using Highland Heather, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Adhere to the Wintry 3D embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere the panel to the first narrow fold of the card base.  Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Vintage Christmas stamp set in Real Red ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock.  Crop the greeting using a circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Pop on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Pop Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the card front.

Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Santa Express Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
