Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding

Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding

This is the card I made for our grandson’s wedding a few weeks ago.  I just haven’t gotten around to posting it.  This Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding Stamp Set and Dies are compliments of Amy Koenders.

As you can see, this is a fun fold.

Card Cuts:

  • Basic White cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
    • embossed panels (2) 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
    • car — 4-1/4′ x 5-1/2″
  • Pretty In Pink cardstock
    • scrap for hearts
  • Silver Foil
    • bumper, back window frame, tail lights, & trunk latch
  1. Using Smoky Slate ink, stamp the car image on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
  2. Stamp the greeting on a piece of Basic White cardstock, then die cut using a die from Classic Wedding Dies.
  3. Color the tires using Basic Gray Stampin’ Blends.
  4. Using Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends, color the car.
  5. Die-cut all the pieces shown on the card using dies from Classic Wedding Dies.
  6. Emboss the two Basic White panels using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
  7. Adhere with Multipurpose Glue the two embossed panels, one on the card front, the other on the inside of the card.
  8. Pop the card on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  9. Adhere all the little pieces you see on the card front to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  10. Using a black felt pen, draw the tire tracks behind the wheels.

Since it has been over a month since I made this card, I do not remember the Stamp Set for the greeting.  The one that is at the bottom for the stop for the card when it is made into an easel is from Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding Stamp Set.  Hearts are adhered down each side of the card.

The flap of a Basic White envelope gets embossed using Glass and Garden 3D Embossing Folder.

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden

It is amazing what taking a photo of a card will do to the color.  The flowers from Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Stamp Set are colored with a Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends.  This looks blue or gray to me now.  I also used Stampin’ Up! Blooming Phrases Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Love & Strength Stamp Set. — 2-7/8″ cuts for this card are

  • Basic White cardstock
    • card base —  score at 4-1/4″  Measure from the outside edge of the Basic White cardstock in to 1-1/4″. Cut from the score line to the bottom edge.  Do this on both sides of the card.
    • inside panel — 3′ x 4″
    • flowers 4″ x 4″
  • Gorgeous Grape cardstock
    • base sides — 1-1/8″ x 4-1/8″
    • base center — 2-7/8″ x 3-7/8″
    • inside base -2-7/8″ x 3-7/8″
    • inside top sides — 1-1/8″ x 4-1/8″  embossed with Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder (cut 2)
    • inside base sides — 1-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ (cut 2)
  • Lost Lagoon cardstock
    • inside base sides 1″ x 4″ (cut 2)
  • Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper
    • card base sides outside — 1″ x 4″ (cut 2)
    • card base sides inside — 7/8″ x 3-7/8″ (cut 2)
    • envelope flap — 2-1/4″ x 6″
  • Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper
    • 2 flowers fussy cut for inside
  • Window Sheet
  • card front window — 3″ x 4″  adhered with Tear N’ Tape

Stamp in Memento Black ink the flowers from Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Stamp Set. Color the flowers using Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  Pop Stampin’ Dimensionals on the side of the flower that will be over the card side piece.  You do not want to put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the entire flower, as this will cause the dimensionals to show on the inside when you open the card.

This is how the card looks when you open it.  The top outside pieces are embossed with Glass & Garden Embossing Folder, and a White stamp pad is swiped over the flowers to give a white color.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Blooming Phrases Stamp Set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, then adhered at the bottom of the inside panel.  The bottom two outside panels get two mats, one of Gorgeous Grape, the other Lost Lagoon.  The Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper is adhered over the Lost Lagoon mat.  Lift the Thinking of You piece to find out what is underneath.

The flowers at the top are fussy cut from Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper and then adhered at the top.  A flower from Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper is fussy cut and adhered at the bottom of the Basic White sentiment panel.  The two sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Love & Strength Stamp Set is stamped in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. One is fussy cut and popped at the top between the two flowers, the other is stamped at the top of the Basic White piece and adhered to the card base over the Gorgeous Grape mat.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using  Multipurpose Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Floral Impressions

Stampin’ Up! Floral Impressions

Happy Sunday, everyone.  I hope everyone is having a relaxing and fun Sunday doing whatever their heart desires.  To those who have to work on Sunday, thank you.  Today, in Georgia, we are enjoying a partly sunny day, which is much better than the rain we’ve had for the past two weeks.

This is a step fun fold card.  They can be easy to make.  Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom Dies are used in creating the card.  We had a stand-alone die set a few years ago that created beautiful cards. I will put a link below for that card.

Step card cuts

  • Strawberry Slush cardstock
    • card base – 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 3”, 6”, and 7”
    • center step – 3” x 6” score at 4-1/2”
  • Basic White cardstock
    • card base mat — 2-3/4” x 5-1/4”
    • card base step mat — ¾” x 5”
    • center step mat – 2-3/4” x 4”
    • inside panel — 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″
    • oval — 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
  • Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper
    • card base – 2-1/2” x 5”
    • card base step mat – ½” x 4-3/4”
    • center step mat – 2-1/2” x 3-3/4”
    • oval card front — 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
  1. Add the 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White mat to the card base.  Add the 2-3/4″ x 4″ Basic White mat to the center step. Add the 3/4″ x 5″ Basic White strip to the card base step.
  2. Next, add the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper to the Basic White mats.
  3. Attach the long portion of the center step to the card front using adhesive of choice, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  4. Attach the short end to the back of the card, putting glue only on the bottom of the short end.  If you put it all over the short end, you will not be able to open your card.
  5. Stamp a greeting in Memento Black ink on the Basic White oval using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Comforting Thoughts Stamp Set.
  6. Looking at the above card, arrange the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper die-cut flowers around the Basic White oval.
  7. Adhere a 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White to the inside of the card base.
  8. Add one of the Stampin’ Up! die-cut flowers to the lower corner.
  9. A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Paper Pumpkin Price Increase

Beginning April 11, Paper Pumpkin is increasing its subscription prices to accommodate rising manufacturing costs. All new subscriptions purchased on or after April 11 will be at the new price.
The price increase will go toward product value—which means that demonstrators will earn more on order commissions. In addition, starting Tuesday, April 15, Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will qualify for rewards through the new Stampin’ Rewards program.

The first kit at the new price, the May Mountain Majesties Kit, will bill on May 11 at 12:01 a.m. (MT).

STAMPIN’ REWARDS CHANGED AS OF  APRIL 15, 2025

Stampin’ Up! updated their Rewards Program beginning mid-April!

The current Stampin’ Rewards program that Stampin’ Up!  had for many years went away on April 15, 2025.
Bottom line? You will now be able to earn Stampin’ Rewards on smaller orders!
Here’s the details:

  • You will not have to place a large order of $150+ to earn free product, as it was with the previous Stampin’ Rewards system.
  • On April 15,  2025, and moving forward, you will earn 10% rewards with orders of $20+!! So…for example, when you place an order of $50 you’ll earn a $5 reward to use the next time you shop!
  • You can save your rewards for up to a year! So, you can spend them on a future order all at once or a little at a time.  Boom!
  • Additionally, the “host code” is going away….so, as of April 15, 2025, you will not need to apply my current host code to your order.

What should you know now to prepare for these changes?
Here are a few things that you can do to make the transition to the new program as smooth as possible:

  • You DO need to have a Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com so you can earn and redeem rewards.
    • I will NOT be able to create and manage customer accounts. I can still help you with ordering if you need me to, but, because of stricter banking policies and data/privacy laws, you’ll need to officially be in charge of your own customer account for earning & redeeming rewards.  So make sure you’re able to log in at stampinup.com.
  • NOTE! You must “opt in” to the program to earn and redeem Stampin’ Rewards.  When you place your first order after  April 15 – you’ll have the chance to “Opt In”.  That’s a good time to do it so you’ll earn Rewards on THAT order!  But – if you decide NOT to at that point – you can always do it on a future order!
  • Don’t want a Stampin’ Up! online store account?? You can still have me place your order for you!  You won’t get the Stampin’ Rewards directly – they’ll come to me and I’ll apply them to a future order for you.
  • If you DO NOT want to “Opt in” to the rewards program, you don’t have to – you can still place orders, but be aware that you won’t receive the Stampin’ Rewards for your purchases.

Again these changes will began  April 15, 2025.  Let me know if you have any questions.
