Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow — Congratulations

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow — Congratulations

I am sharing a beautiful card today created using more than one stamp set.  I used Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set for the main focus of the card.  Stampin’ Up! Scenic Wonders, So Sincere, and Something Fancy stamp sets are use for the greeting and sentiment.  Quiet Meadow will probably be retired when the new annual catalog comes out along with the other three sets.

I am entering the Sketch Saturday Challenge for this card. Their theme this challenge is to choose a design from past sketches so  I chose Sketch #649.  This is a sketch design that I am saving for future cards.   I looked through the designs three times, saving designs I liked to my challenge folder for future use.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a piece of the same embossed using the Splatters die from Stripes & Splatters 3 D Embossing Folders.  The piece behind the art piece is embossed with the same as is the corner of the art piece.  I believe the gold mats make the Basic White pieces popped out.

The three embossed pieces has Balmy Blue ink brushed on using a Blending Brush  The two smaller pieces of Basic White card stock are matted on pieces of Distressed Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The background piece is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The larger of the two small pieces is adhered over the background piece.  The art piece is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals as you can see from the photo above.  A butterfly from my stash of butterflies is popped on the card front also.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy stamp set is stamped in Smoky Slate ink on a piece of Basic White card stock, matted on a piece of Distressed Gold Specialty Design Series Paper.  Tinsel Gems are popped around ‘the card front.  One of the Gems is also popped on the butterfly’s head.

A panel of Basic White card stock is stamped in Smoky Slate ink with a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Scenic Wonders stamp set.  Flowers from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set are stamped in Smoky Slate ink, then colored using Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a flower image from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set stamped on the envelope flap in Smoky Slate then colored using Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature Softly Stippled

Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature Softly Stippled

The card I am sharing today is created using Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper, Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder, Tinsel Gems, and Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set.

The card base is Lost Lagoon card stock. A piece of the Lost Lagoon card stock is embossed using Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder,  it is adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A strip of Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-Bration)  Sale-a-Bration is January 4 through the end of February.

Flowers are fussy cut from a panel of Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper. They are adhered to Pebble Path card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then fussy cut again before being arranged over the Softly Stipple strip using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Tinsel Gems are scattered around the card front.

A greeting is stamped in Pebble Path ink. The greeting is one of my stash that is in a stamp case with other stamps I can’t do without, so I can’t remember the stamp set it is from.  The greeting is trimmed then matted on a piece of Pebble Path card stock and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set is stamped in Pebble Path ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A flower and leaves from Softly Strippled Designer Series Paper are fussy cut and adhered in the lower corner.  Two Tinsel Gems are popped by the sentiment.

A Basic White medium envelope get a piece of Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet Notes of Nature — Just A Note!

Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet Notes of Nature — Just A Note!

This card today that I am sharing is a CAS of one on page 43 of the new Jan. – April 2024 Mini Catalog.  I did add a bit more than in the catalog.   I do not think a picture shows the real beauty of this card.  I really was just creating and not looking very well when I was creating this card, I was amazed at how it looked once I saw the finished card.  I used Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set and Notes of Nature Dies along with a die from Lovely & Sweet Dies.

The card in the catalog is not a fun fold but I created this as a landscape easel card.

The card base is Pebble Path card stock with another panel of Pebble Path used as the background panel.  The panel is stamped with dots using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set.  Using the vine stamp to die cut several vines from Pebble Path card stock.  Once they were adhered to the Pebble Path panel, I thought it gave the panel the look of being embossed.  An extra vine is used as the stop for the easel.

Most of the dies from Notes of Nature Dies along with one from Lovely & Sweet Dies is die cut from Basic Black card stock.  The flowers are die cut from a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper.  They do not show up very well in the picture. Two different patterns from Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper is cut. One of them is die cut using a die from Notes of Nature Dies.  A length of Gold Faux Leather Trim is laced through the holes on the die cut piece and a know tied on each end of the trim.  A greeting is stamped in Versa Mark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat embossed.  The piece is die cut using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  All the element have been created so it is time to put the card together.  All the pieces are arranged as you see in the photo above.  Adhesives used were Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A different pattern of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper is used for the inside panel.  A sentiment is stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock in Pebble Path ink. A small flower from Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet stamp set is stamped on the corner of the sentiment piece. The piece is adhered at the top of the designer series paper allowing the easel to open without showing the sentiment.  One of the Pebble Path vines is used to create the stop for the ease.

A piece of Basic White card stock is adhered on the back of the easel for additional notes.  A clump of Basic Black leaves are adhered in the corner.

A Basic White medium envelope get a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow — Thinking of Your

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow — Thinking of Your

I am again using the stack, cut, shuffle technique with Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set and  Meadow Dies.  It made a bright and cheery card.

Flowers are die cut using Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper and Meadow Dies.  I believe the white sprig with berries is from Magical Meadow Dies.  The greeting is stamped on a scrap of Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper using Versa Mark ink and White embossing powder.  It is then die cut using a die from Meadow Dies.  The greeting is popped over the loops of Basic White twine from Basic Twine Essential Pack using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The gems are Calypso Coral ones from a card that was part of a Paper Share sometime ago.  Click on this link and you can see Mary Deatherage’s layout for cutting the stack, cut, shuffle pieces.

After the pieces are cut, use Lost Lagoon card stock as the mat to adhere the pieces.  A tiny border is left between the pieces and the edge.  After all the piece are adhered, then you can adhere the Lost Lagoon piece to the card base using Multipurpose liquid Glue.

A panel of Very Vanilla card stock is matted to a piece of Lost Lagoon card stock. Using a die from Deckled Rectangle Dies cut a frame for the Very Vanilla card stock and adhered over the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  This panel can now be adhered to the Very Vanilla card base.

A Basic White medium envelope get a piece of Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood — Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood — Thinking of You

It has taken me two days to get this made, so I am hoping i can do one that I will get posted tomorrow, the last day of 20223.

I think I have shared this fun fold design with you before so I am sharing it again today.  I call it a triple fold as you open three time before you get to the final sentiment.  It is created using Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood, Notes of Nature, Very Best Occasions, and Happy Hedgehogs stamp sets.

I am joining Triple B Challenge — Birds, Butterflies, & Blooms for this card.

Above are the pieces you need to create this card.

I started with the inside then worked to the outside card front.  See the first flap and what is on it in the next picture.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasion stamp set is stamped in Smokey Slate ink on a piece of Basic White card stock then adhered to this panel so it will not show when the card is closed.  Two butterflies from Brushed Brass Butterflies are popped on the sentiment piece along with a sequin from Adhesive Backed Sequin Trio.

On one of the Basic White pieces, a branch with flowers from Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood stamp set (free with a qualifying order to customer January 4, 2024 and free now if you are a demonstrator, be it hobby or business as we get to pre-order) is stamped in Smoky Slate ink on the piece then colored using Bubble Bath, Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  A little bird from Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehogs stamp set is stamped in Smoky Slate ink on the branch and colored using Balmy Blue and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends. One of the flowers is fussy cut from another piece that was stamped and colored.  It is popped in the bird’s beak.

On a panel of Basic White card stock a sentiment from the December 2024 Paper Pumpkin — All The Best is stamped in Smoky Slate ink. The Happy Birthday is from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasion stamp set is stamped by the flowers that have been stamped in Smoky Slate ink. They are colored in Bubble Bath, Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  Brushed Brass Butterflies are popped around the panel.

Finally, the card front.  A piece of the Basic White card stock is stamped with flowers from Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood stamp set a Sale-a-Bration item, available January 4, 2024.  The flowers are colored with the same colors as the other flowers in the card. Adhesive Backed Sequins Trio sequins are popper around the card front.  A butterfly from Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehogs stamp set is stamped in Smoky Slate ink and  colored using Parakeet Party and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends. Dots are stamped around the flowers.  I do not know which stamp set they are from, I keep that stamp just for that purpose.  This piece is adhered to the top flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The greeting is from

A Basic White medium envelope get a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
