Stampin’ Up! First Frost

The inspiration for today’s challenge is from {Mojo} Monday. I chose the middle layout.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss card stock card base.

Next, add a layer of the Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper. Adhere to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Cut a strip of the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper and mat on a strip of Blackberry Bliss card stock. Adhere to the Best Dressed panel. Cut a small panel of the Best Dressed DSP and mat on Blackberry Bliss card stock also. Adhere it over the Perennial Essence DSP. Crop a circle using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Shaped Dies. Stamp the greeting in Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss Classic ink using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You Stamp Set. Stamp two roses in Blackberry Bliss ink (doesn’t look like Blackberry Bliss, does it?) using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! First Frost Stamp Set. Fussy cut and pop on the circle. Add 3 Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels.

On a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock stamp the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sending You Thoughts Stamp Set. Fussy cut a rose from the DSP and adhere in the corner.

To finish the project, give a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope a panel of the Best Dressed DSP.

April Paper Pumpkin
FOR THOSE YOU LOVE MOST: MY WONDERFUL FAMILY
At Paper Pumpkin, we believe in making a difference—especially when it comes to helping you build relationships through paper crafting. For April, we created a fun, family appreciation themed card kit that would make it easy for you to share your heart with those you love most: mom, dad, daughter, son, sister, and brother. April’s kit even includes Mother’s Day and Father’s Day sentiments, giving you the perfect way to show your appreciation for beloved parents on their special days with a beautiful, handmade card.
One more thing about this “fam-tastic” kit: The Paper Pumpkin team knows that everyone’s clan is unique. With that in mind, we provided sentiments that would include anyone in your life who feels like family; for instance, “brothers” and “sisters” who have helped you along the journey of life.
Check out our promotional video to learn more, then share the link on social media—or send it directly to someone you think may be interested. They won’t want to miss this kit!

I am using the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You stamp set to create my card for today. I turned it into a graduation card to celebrate my granddaughter’s high school graduation. We have had graduations every week during the month of May and this will be the last for the year. Between weddings and graduations, we stay quite busy.
My card starts with a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock card base. The card front has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Oh! My Stars Embossing Folder (retiring June 3). A panel from Stampin’ Up!’s 6″ x 6″ Regals Paper Collection. It has been cut in a certain shape that I learned from Jaimie Babarczy.
This panel is adhered to the card base using Liquid Multipurpose Glue. The art piece with my little graduate is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. The image is colored using Stampin’ Up! Real Red and Basic Black Watercolor Pencils. The greeting celebrate is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink also.
A small square of Basic Black card stock was cut to make the Mortar Board. (The square academic cap, graduate cap, mortarboard (because of its similarity in appearance to the mortarboard used by brick masons to hold mortar) or Oxford cap, is an item of academic dress consisting of a horizontal square board fixed upon a skull-cap, with a tassel attached to the center.) The tassel is created by using a scrap of gold thread from my sewing box. A Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewel is used as the button for the mortarboard. The art piece is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The inside sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Well Said stamp bundle and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. The word happy is cut from a scrap of the Regals paper and adhered using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
An envelope has its flap decorated with a panel of the Regals Bright paper also.
