The Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper does most of the work in the card I am sharing today. I did use Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends Stamp Set for the greeting and sentiment. I also use the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.

This is an easel fun fold. The card base is Basic White cardstock with a piece of Garden Green cardstock embossed using Timber 3D Embossing Folder.

Card Cuts For This Card

Basic White cardstock
- card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
- mat Night of Navy piece card front — 1-1/2″ x 5-1/8″
- label card front — 2-3/4″ 4-1/8″
Garden Green cardstock
- embossed panel card front — 4″ x 5-1/4″
- inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper
- strip down left side — 1-1/4″ x 5″
- oraanges fussy cut from panel of Designer Series Paper

Easel cards are the easiest of all to create. You can see from the photo above how the card is folded. The easiness of the card creation is because there is only two pieces of card stock for the card base. The main part that creates the easel is two folds and another piece of card stock is added as you can see that creates the card front with all the elements necessary to decorate the card, with this one the Designer Series Paper does most of the creating.

A panel of Garden Green is embossed using Timber 3D Embossing Folder, then adhered to the inside card base. Fussy cut oranges are adhered at the top left and along the bottom of the panel. A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, trimmed and popped on the Garden Green layer. This creates the stopper for the easel.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

My card today is an easy fun fold. I’ve used Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes Stamp Set and Dies, Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Stamps Set, and Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper.

Cut It Up Challenge — Anything Goes

Creatives Creases Challenge

Start with a Shaded Spruce cardstock card base cut 4-1/2″ x 11″
Score at 5-1/2″
Fold and burnish well.
Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock 4-1/8″ x 9-3/4″
Score 2-1/4″ and 4-1/2″.
Fold the 2-1/4″ score line as a mountain fold.
Fold the 4-1/2″ score line as a valley fold.
Adhere the Basic White piece to the card base using adhesive of choice. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue. This piece creates the easel.
Cut a piece of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper 4″ x 5-1/8″ and 2″ x 3-7/8″.
Adhere the two pieces of designer series paper to the Basic White piece.
This is the way the easel looks from the side.
Die cut the stems of the flowers from Lost Lagoon cardstock, cut three. See the first photo to see the two dies to use to cut the flowers. They are really the same die, but one has the flowers.
Die cut from Petunia Pop cardstock the flowers using the die that has the flowers on it. Cut three.
Adhere the Lost Lagoon flower stems over the flower stem leaving only the Petunia Pop flower showing. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue because they are so thin. It would have been good to use an adhesive strip adhered to the Lost Lagoon cardstock. It would have made it easier to adhere the Lost Lagoon stem over the flower stem.
Adhere the flowers on the background piece of tthe Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (see photo).
Die cut the big flourish that looks like half a wreath (see first photo) from Lost Lagoon cardstock.
Stamp a greeting on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Shaded Spruce ink.
Trim the greeting piece to 1-1/2″ x 2-1/4″.
Cut a mat from Petunia Pop cardstock 1-5/8″ x 2-3/8″ for the greeting piece.
Adhere the greeting piece to the Petunia Pop cardstock piece.
Adhere 3 Stampin’ Dimensionals down the middle of the greeting.
Pop the greeting in the middle of the easel part.
Tuck the flourish around the greeting. You may have to cut it into two pieces.
Pop three Birds and Dragonflies around the card front and one on the inside.
A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock, then adhered to the card base. A strip of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper is adhered at the bottom of the panel.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Glue or adhesive of choice.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia — Sending Flowers

Well! here it is again, the weekend, do you have fun plans ahead or just a relaxing few days after working all week. This isn’t the weekend for some of our hospital staffers, other first responders, and our military. Some of them are always on alert for our benefit. Thank them each chance you get.

Once again, I am using Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Stamp Set and Dies to create a card that I am sharing with you today.

I am entering this card in Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge. I choose the middle row — die cuts, free, sentiment.

These are card cuts needed for making the card.

Basic Beige cardstock
- card base – 4-1/4” x 9” scored on the 9” side at 1-1/4”, 2-1/2”, and 5-3/4”
- center step – 1-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 5-1/2”
Country Woods Designer Series Paper
- bottom step – 1” x 4”
- bigger step – 3” x 4”
- center panel – 2-1/4” x 5-1/4”
- back of card — 3” x 4”
Add the 1” x 4” piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper to the card base with the adhesive of choice. ( I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue)
Adhere the 3” x4” piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper to the card base with the adhesive of choice.
Adhere the 2 ¼” x 5 ¼” Country Woods Designer Series Paper to the center step card with adhesive of choice.
Add adhesive of choice to each end of the center step card on the back.
Add the Center Step card to the card base by lining up the taller section on the front edge of the card base. Fold the center step card and adhere to the back of the card base, making sure you are adhering only the edge of the card to the back of the card base.
Die cut the zinnia from the following cardstocks: Petal Pink for the petals, Lemon Lolly for the star center, a Pecan Pie for the center, Garden Green for the zinnia’s stem.
Stamp leaves in Memento Black ink, coloring using Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
Die cut the little flowers that are on the front step and behind the step from the following cardstock: Petal Pink, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce, and Berry Burst.
Adhere all the zinnias to the card front, behind the step, and on the front step.
Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set in Memento Black ink. Fussy cut the greeting
Adhere the greeting across the front step over the flower stems.
Add bling of your choice.
Fussy cut a zinnia from Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper.
Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set in Memento Black ink on a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper.
Adhere the piece to the back of the card.
Add the zinnia that you fussy cut earlier to the top of the center panel. (see photo)
Adhere a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper to the flap of a Basic White envelope.

An easy way to make a Center Step Card, don’t you think? I’ve made it the other way many times but this is much easier, no cutting, just a few score lines.

From the photo above you can see how to assemble the card together. The butterflies are from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set and dies, both the ones stamped on the greeting and the die cut ones. Sequins from Adhesive Backed Sequins and gems from Tinsel Gems Three Pack are scattered around the card front.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. Butterflies have been die cut from a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper and popped around the sentiment. The Basic White panel is then matted on another piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Adhere a 2-1/4′ x 6″ piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky

Happy Friday everyone! Do you have a fun weekend planned? Here in Georgia it is too hot to do much outside. Maybe, if you are in Savannah at the beach, the breeze may be cool encough to be outside. Enjoy the weekend, whatever you do!

I believe this is called a diagonal Fun Fold, I will call it that. I have used Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set for my greeting and sentiment. Beach Day has been seeing lots of use with me recently. I also used half of one of the card bases from the Delicate Wings Paper Pumpin Kit as a background piece on the card front.

I am entering my card in

Triple B: Birds, Butterflies, and Blooms Challenge

Cut a 4-1/4′ x 11″ Basic White cardstock card base. Score at 5-1/2″. On the left panel, cut from the score line to the right corner. You can see in the photo how the cut is.

Using half of one of the card bases from Delicate Wings Paper Pumpkin, cut the panel 4″ x 5-1/4″ then cut diagonally from the left corner to the right corner. Adhere the piece to the left panel of the card front.

Using Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set and Dies you can stamp butterflies and then die cut using one of the dies. I used butterflies from a large, large stash of butterflies I die cut some time ago. I believe they multiply over night. I dipped the edges of the butterflies in Versa Mark end, sprinkled Gold Embossing Powder over them, and heat embossed. Using a Blending Brush and Lost Lagoon ink, I brushed the center of the butterflies. A sequin Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins is popped on the butterflies.

Cut a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock 3-1/4′ x 6-1/2″ score at 3-1/4″. Cut a piece of Lost Lagoon 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. Embosse the piece using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to the front of the little card. Pop the butterflies on the front using a Glue Dot. Using another half panel of a card base from Delicate Wings Paper Pumpkin cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″, color using a Blending Brush and Lost Lagoon ink. Adhere the piece to the inside of the card. Use the remaining half of the card from the card front, adhered to the inside of the left panel. Adhere the little card to the middle of the inside panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Also, stamp the little butterflies from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Memento Black ink on the sentiment panel. Color using Lemon Lolly and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends. Adhere to the inside of the little card.

Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky stamp set on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, fussy cut and adhere to the corner of the little card. Adhere Iridescent Adhesive Backed Gems to the front of the little card.

Adhere a 2-1/4′ x 6″ piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Glue.
