Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly

Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly

I am again using Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper to create the card I am sharing today. I love this Designer Series Paper and have used it often and will continue using to create cards as it will be retired come January 2023.  I also used the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder, a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set.

As I am inspired by the Sunday Stamps Challenge card design, I am entering the challenge.

I started with a Basic White card base and embossed a panel of the same using the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder.  After embossing I adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I fussy cut poinsettias from a panel of the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and adhered to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Sprigs of gold and white are tucked under the poinsettias.  Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped over the buds on the Basic White sprigs.

A sentiment from a retired stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Basic White card stock that has been cropped using a die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies.  A fussy-cut poinsettia is adhered in the corner of the panel. The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! PP Sweet Sunflower Hello Card

Stampin’ Up! PP Sweet Sunflower Hello Card

The card I am sharing today is another one created using Stampin’ Up! August Paper Pumpkin Sweet Sunflowers.  I also use part of a card that comes with the kit as my Designer Series Paper.

I am entering the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

My card base is Daffodil Delight card stock with a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock as a mat for the Designer Series Paper, which is half of a Sweet Sunflower card base.  The panel is cut into three pieces to match the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

I stamped a sunflower in Stazon ink and colored with Blackberry Bliss ink and a Water Painter.  I stamped the center using So Saffron ink, then fussy cut the sunflower out along with the leaves stamped in Mossy Meadow ink and colored using an Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker. I made a  bow using Crumb Cake twine from the Basic Twine Essential Pack.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets a sunflower stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored with it with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Marker.  Two twigs are stamped in Mossy Meadow ink and is stamped off once before stamping on the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a sunflower stamped in Tuxedo Black ink to the envelope flap and colored using a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Marker

Stampin’ Up! Santa’s Delivery Christmas Card

Stampin’ Up! Santa’s Delivery Christmas Card

My card I am sharing today is a side step card and is created using Stampin’ Up! Santa’s Delivery stamp set and the Santa Train Dies, along with the Santa Express Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Since Addicted to Stamps and More has the theme of Any Occasion, I am entering, as my card is an occasion that comes in December each year.

I am entering the As You See It Challenge.  Their theme is Christmas in July and give your favorite reason. My favorite Christmas in July is making Christmas cards to get ahead of the game since I am so slow.  I love making cards for children, especially fun fold ones, they are always astonished at the cards.

My card base is from a package of Side Step card bases I have had since I became a Stampin’ Up! customer.  I remember those days, I could not cut the card correctly so I purchased a package to make it easier, well you know how that goes, I put them in the cabinet forgot them and in unpacking a box of SU products that has been in storage for the past two years, I found them and thought why not use.  I’ve made side step cards before, but not using these already cut ones, so guess what I found out to my horror when I went to put the pieces together, the pieces I had cut were smaller than the card base so I had to measure and cut again.  In making my regular side step cards, I pull out my diagram and cut. Lesson learned, measure a bought card base before you cut.

I will give measurements for a regular side step at the end of my post.

This is how the card looks when it is opened up more.  As you can see my card base is white.  I have used Real Red and Shaded Spruce card stock as the mats.  I fussy cut the Santa and train car from a panel of Santa Express Designer Series Paper.  I thought I would try the Designer Series Paper before I used the stamps to stamp and color Santa and the train card.  I did stamp and color the tree on the train card and the penguins from the Stampin’ Up! Santa Delivery stamp set.  I colored the tree using Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The train track is cropped from a piece of Soft Suede card stock and adhered under the train wheels with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I used a panel of Santa Express Designer Series Paper to create a background.  I colored the penguins using a Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker.  The penguins are popped around the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to give them a bit of dimension.  I cropped trees from  Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green card stock using the Tree Lot Dies.  A greeting from the stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and fussy cut.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Santa Express Designer Series Paper applied to envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  This is one of the envelopes that come with the side step kit.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

Card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Hello

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Hello

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set and Sending Dies along with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and Perfectly Penciled DSP.

My card design for today is from the Fusion Card Challenge.  I chose the sketch portion of the challenge.

I colored the panel with flowers using Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers.  After coloring, I adhered the two panels to Basic Black card stock as a mat.  The two panels were then adhered to the card front of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A greeting is cropped using stamps and dies from Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set and Sending Dies. Basic Black card stock is used as the mat.  Three Pearl Basic Jewels are colored using a Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Marker and then popped around the card.

A panel of Basic White card stock set flowers that match the card front adhered to the bottom of the card, then the panel is adhered to the card base.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Hippest Hippos Love You A TON

Stampin’ Up! Hippest Hippos Love You A TON

This cute little card I am sharing today is created using  Stampin’ Up! Hippest Hippos stamp set.  It is a card I have made for my great-granddaughter who is ill will COVID.  I tried to dress the hippos the way a 6-year-old would like.  I also used the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.

My challenge for today is the As You See It Challenge — Three To Get Ready.

My card base is Coastal Cabana card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Painted Textured 3D Embossing Folder.

I stamped the hippos in Smoky Slate ink on Basic White card stock, cropped with the Hippo Dies, and colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Crumb Cake, Real Red, and Shaded Spruce.  I cropped grass from Stampin’ Up! Horizon Dies (retired) from a scrap of a green DSP in my stash.  I cropped the flowers, hearts, and umbrella from a piece of 2022-2024 Brights DSP.  My boat and stage for the ballerina, the tub turned upside down are cropped from a piece of Early Espresso card stock.  The glasses and the mast for the boat are cropped from a scrap of Basic Black card stock.  All the elements are put together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Resin Hearts (retired) are popped around the embossed panel.

A greeting is stamped in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, one end is flagged and it is popped over the mast to make a sail for the boat.

Sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Thought it Together and Wildlife Wonder stamp sets are stamped in Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock panel and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets DSP from 2022-2024 Bright DSP is applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.
