Stampin’ Up! Christmastime with Toile Christmas
Happy Tuesday, Welcome!
It’s only 2 days until Thanksgiving are you one of those that can hardly wait for the spread laid out on the table or just a nibbler? Are you joining the crazy crowds on Black Friday? I did once, but I think you get wiser with age and it’s no fun to stay all night in a store to get what you want. Many years ago, my daughter-in-love and I used to go shopping (we had to be nuts to stay up all night and pull a stunt like we did) and we would get the items that were limited, on sale for a good price, and only for a certain amount of time and everyone was fighting to get.
After we walked around and did the shopping we there to do we would check out and tell the salesperson, “Oh I decided I don’t want this.” By this time the sale was over. We were mean, would you say? Or we would find a Mom that looked so tired and needed much help financially and ask her if she was looking for this toy. There was always a smile when she got what she was really there for, the toy that was special that year that her child just had to have. Thinking about it now we should have gone to the register with her and paid. Anyone remember the Furbies, I think that’s how you spell it, that was one year.
Well on to the card.
The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper, Toile Christmas Stamp Bundle, this includes the stamps and the Christmas Cardinal Dies. You may be seeing Cardinal cards the next few days as I have made several with different layouts.
The challenges I am playing today are Crafty Catz Blog Challenge — Crafty Catz #484 Anything goes/spots and/or stripes.
And…Sweet Stampin’ add a pop of red.

Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock is the card base, then a background panel on top from one of the Stampin’ Up! Copper Dot Treat Bags that has been cut to the proper size. The greeting from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set is stamped in Versa Mark ink and then Stampin’ Up! Gold Embossing Powder is sprinkled over it and heat embossed to set the greeting. The label the greeting is on is one of the cropped pieces when the Cardinal was cropped. I thought it made a very nice label.

Before adhering any of the pieces, I arranged the pieces on the background to see how they would look (Mary Deatherage taught us this trick). After being satisfied with the way they looked I took a picture so I could remember exactly the placement as I glued using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, or popped with Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Cardinal from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Bundle is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock and then colored using Stampin’ Up! Light Real Red and Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The berry branches from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Set are stamped using Tuxedo Memento Black in on the envelope flap, then colored using the Stampin’ Blends in Light Cherry Cobbler and Light Old Olive.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.
HAVE A HAPPY AND BLESSED THANKSGIVING!

The card I am sharing today is really simple. It is the negative piece left from making another card, but it works perfectly to make this one. It is from the Stampin’ Up! Dashing Deer Stamp Set. Since this is a piece of foil card stock and it doesn’t photo very well, or I should say, I can’t get it to photo well — pictures are few and you don’t need very many instructions as you can see.

My Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid DSP added to the flap.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Memories and More Card Pack. An extra easy card to create.

The greeting is cut from one of the cards in the same pack and popped on the card front along with the rhinestones from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Stampin’ Up! Snow Accents Puff Paint is applied to the white cuffs of Santa’s suit and heat set with the heat tool.

My card today is another Sneak Peek of the Same Suite. The instant I saw this DSP at OnStage, I had a card in mind and it just so happens that it will go with the challenge over at

The art panel which turns out to be the focal panel and is from the 2020 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog and is one of the sheets of DSP in the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. The way it is printed you cut it down the middle at 6″ and then you have two panels to make cards or background for some other image. The panel received a Stampin’ Up! Highland Heather card stock mat.

The card I am sharing is created using the Stampin’ Up! Well Written Dies and the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape ink as is the twig of berries from the Stampin’ Up! First Frost Stamp Set.
