!, My card today is created by using a soon to be a retired stamp set, Little Twinkle. It was an easy card to make and would be great for a beginning stamper.

My sketch is from the Try Stamping on Tuesday.

Night of Navy card stock is used for the card base. A panel of Whisper White card stock is used for the mat for the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP used for the focal panel. Three circles are cut using the Layering Circle Dies, one a bit larger than the next to make a border for the first circle that is cut from a panel of the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP. The Petal Pink circle has the greeting stamped in Night of Navy ink. A length of Whisper White ribbon is wrapped around the Night of Navy star panel before the circles are popped over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Several silver stars are scattered around the card front and they may not show up too well.

The inside sentiment is from the Ribbons of Courage stamp set (retiring June 3) and I wish it wasn’t.

My envelope flap got some of the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP that was used for the focal panel.

Twinkle, Twinkle

This Little Twinkle stamp set that I have used very little and now it is going to be retired. Guess I will just have to use it as fast as I can and make more cards with it. The DSP is lovely also. This card is a few cuts with your paper cutter and then adhering using Liquid Glue or Stampin Dimensionals.

My design comes from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

The card base is Pool Party card stock with double mats of Night of Navy and Whisper White for the focal panel.

The focal panel is from the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP as is the three squares. The three squares are cut in Whisper White card stock using the Layering Square Dies. These are adhered to a panel from the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP which is popped on the focal panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Three Basic Adhesive Back Sequins are scattered over the focal panel. The greeting is in Night of Navy ink from another stamp set that is now retired but deals with the stars. As anyone knows you can use any greeting and sentiment you choose. Example: If you should happen to want to CAS(E) this card, you may decide that you want it to be a card for a baby or a child that is a superstar.

The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Whisper White that has had stars punched in it on each side of the sentiment.

I adhered a panel of the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP to an envelope that was left over from a Stampin’ Up! kit.

Love What You Do

I decided I needed to use up some of the soon retiring products before they are retired. This turned out to be a rather pretty card. It was simple and easy to make. I used the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper and the Strong and Beautiful Stamp set (it will be in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog) for the greeting and the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder.

My design is from the CAS(E) this Sketch.

The card base is Tranquil Tide as is the mat the three focal panels are adhered to. One panel is Mint Macaron that has been embossed using the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder. One panel is cut from the What You Love DSP and the third panel is a panel of Whisper White that has been color washed using Melon Mambo ink. A bow is made out of Whisper White Twine and tied around the flowers that have been fussy cut from a panel of Share What You Love DSP. The greeting is from the Strong and Beautiful stamp set.

The sentiment is stamped on a panel of Whisper White using Melon Mambo ink. I stamped the ink off once so it would not be so bright. The flowers from the Love What You Do stamp set is used to stamp the flowers on the sentiment panel after being colored using Stampin’ Write Markers in Melon Mambo and Tranquil Tide.

The flap of the envelope is decorated using a panel from the Share What You Love DSP

Animal Expedition

I have been wanting to create a card with these little frogs from the Animal Expedition DSP and here is my chance.

My sketch design is from Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge for this week.

My card today is just a matter of a few cuts using the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper and Shaded Spruce card stock as the mat. The little hello is from a scrap of Crumb Cake. The inside sentiment from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce on a panel of Whisper White card stock and matted on a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock.

Sunday Stamps Challenge 202

It is a Whisper White card base with three panels of three different DSP that was from the just gone by Sale-A-Bration. As you can see if you go to each card challenge there are many papers that can be used to create the design and many stamp designs to use to create the black and white challenge. I love black and white and could create more cards but I believe one entry is the limit for the challenge.

The Tailored Tag Punch is used to create the label for the greeting. The Whisper White one is trimmed to allow the Basic Black card stock to show around. Three black and white butterflies are cut from a scrap of the Botanical Butterfly DSP that is a just gone by Sale-A-Bration item. Three sequins from the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins are colored with the Dark Black Stampin’ Blends Pen and scattered around the label.

The inside sentiment from the Humming Along stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White. A butterfly from the Beauty Abound stamp set is stamped several times on the sentiment panel without re-inking the stamp.
