Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs
Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set, and Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set are used in creating the card I am sharing today. I am sure there is someone out there on Pinterest that has created this stamp design before, so consider me as CASing you as I have no idea who you may be.
I am entering Crafty Gals Corner Challenge for this card as I consider it a fun fold.
These are the piece needed to create this card, along with a Moody Mauve cardstock card base. Flower and leaf images from Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set are stamped in Smoky Slate ink and colored using Bubble Bath, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce, and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends. Two circles are die cut from Country Woods Designer Series Paper using a die from Spotlight On Nature Dies. Two circles are die cut from Basic White cardstock using a the next size smaller die to do the cutting.
It has taken me the entire day to create this card, as I kept changing the card base because each one seemed to not be the right one. I finally settled on Moody Mauve, but then could not find a piece of Designer Series Paper that would go with the Moody Mauve cardstock, so I decided to make my own. I used the flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs and heat embossed using Versa Mark and White Embossing Powder. It turned out rather well, I think. I probably could have done the same with the three other cardstocks but the idea only come to mind when I decided on Moody Mauve.
This is the way it looks once adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere.
One of the Basic White circles is adhered to the Country Woods Designer Series Paper circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The circle are then adhered to the card from using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Flowers and leaves are arranged and then adhered using either Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A loopy bow is made using Linen Thread and popped on the flowers using a Glue Dot. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs Stamp Set is stamped in Old Olive ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock, fussy cut, and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems are popped around the card front.
The other Country Woods Designer Series Paper circle is adhered to the back of the circle that is on the card front. A panel of Basic White cardstock is embossed using Dashing Design 3D Embossing Folder. It is adhered to the inside panel of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The remaining Basic White circle is stamped with a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set. Two of the smaller flowers are cut from the flower bunch and adhered to the circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gem is popped beside the sentiment.
A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Moody Mauve cardstock embossed using Dashing Design 3D Embossing Folder adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.
