Stampin” Up! To A Wild Rose

Stampin” Up! To A Wild Rose

Happy Monday– hope you had a fantastic week-end and the temps were cool.  I love cool Autumn mornings but for now the temps gets up there about noon.

My card for today is CAS(E)d from Shannean Moncrieff — visit her blog here

Shannean’s instructions are much better than what I can give you, so if you are interested just click on over to her blog and you will find great instructions.

One of my challenges is with The Library Craft Challenge — The Secret Garden is the book chosen for this challenge.  I have created flowers and birds to represent the garden.  I loved reading this book so much as a high schooler, then as an adult,  I just may have to make another card for it.

I am also entering the House that Stamps Built — anything goes.  There is no icon for the logo.

And the last one is  My Time To Craft Challenge Blog –  Theme this week is birds.

I must not have read her instructions too well, because when I just read them again, I realized she made a square card and mine is the regular size we always make.  She has one bird and I have two that are fussy cut from a panel of  Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP).  My To A Wild Rose is from a Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin kit this year, hers is the To A Wild Rose stamp set that is in the current catalog.  I  first stamped my roses from the current stamp set but decided I liked the Paper Pumpkin one more, so I am using it.  I used the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder and she used embossing paste.

The inside sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Lovely Lipstick ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.

In finishing, I embossed a panel of White White card stock with the Stampin’  Up! Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. I rubbed Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake ink on the embossing folder using a Sponge Dauber before embossing. After embossing the panel was adhered to a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.
