Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow

I hope your day is going well.  It looks to be a great one.

The card I am sharing today is created using one of the new stamp sets Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow, available May 4 to customers.  It is definitely going to be loved by all for all occasions. It reminds me of the Butterfly Basic set from a few years ago.  I loved that set.  This one does have the butterfly, but you can add a butterfly from one of the butterfly stamp sets Stampin’ Up! has.  There are several to choose from.

This is one of my challenges for the day, Try Stampin’ On Tuesday.  They always have such great sketches to help your card making along.

And Watercooler Wednesday – Dawn’s Challenge: All About Occasions.  This is a birthday card and I like to put Thinking of You as the greeting so I can say Happy Birthday when I write a note inside.

I started with a card base of Highland Heather, adding a panel from the Hand Penned DSP (available May 4 to customers) that has been matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock.

Another piece of the Hand Penned DSP is used to cut the strip down the middle.  This strip is also matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock.

An oval is cropped from a panel of Basic White card stock using the largest die from the Stitched Shape Dies, retiring May 4.  The largest flower image from the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on this oval.  It is then colored using Dark & Light Rococo Rose  Stampin’ Blends Markers, retiring May 4, so if you like this color the way I do you need to stock up before the supply is gone. and Dark & Light Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The art piece is matted using Basic Black card stock, then popped over the center of the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The greeting from the stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, then matted on a Basic Black scrap which is also fussy cut and popped on the bottom of the art piece.  Three jewels from the 2021-2023 Incolor Jewels are popped around the card front.  Looking at the card you will assume the jewels are Basic Pearls, but they are the jewels from the 2021-2023 Incolor Jewels.

A narrow strip of the Hand Penned DSP is adhered down the side of a Basic White card stock panel and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card inside for writing a birthday message.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
