Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals
Here it is Monday rolling around again. Ever notice how quick it appears each week. I trust everyone had a great peaceful, fun, relaxing weekend.
I can’t seem to get away from those beautiful prints in the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper because here I am again using it. They are such lovely prints you or I do anyway, hate to cut the panel. This paper works perfectly for the challenge I am entering for today.
My challenge is Just Add Ink “No Stamping” and as you can see by the title the challenge is no stamping.
The card base is from the Stampin’ Up! Rococo Rose card stock with two mats, one being the focal panel. The first mat is from Stampin’ Up! Merry Merlot card stock and is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtles Embossing Folder. The second mat is a panel from the Pressed Petals DSP and is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Pinewoods Plank Embossing Folder. They are adhered using Multipurpose Glue.
The art piece is another panel from the Pressed Petals DSP and is adhered to a Stampin’ Up! Merry Merlot card stock mat. The greeting is cut three times using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Well Written Dies and is stacked and glued together. Pearls from Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewel are scattered on the card front. A bow is made and adhered with a Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dot. I believe the twine for the bow is from a Paper Pumpkin kit.
The inside sentiment panel is decorated with flowers that have been fussy cut from the Pressed Petals DSP. The panel is left blank except for the flowers for a note to be written.
In finishing the flap of the envelope is given a panel of the Pressed Petals DSP so it will coordinate with the card front.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you like my card and that you have a blessed day!

The Pressed Petals papers were a perfect choice & you’ve used them beautifully, Shirley. I love how the paper gives such texture & you’ve added real texture too with the twine. Thanks for playing along with our no stamping challenge at Just Add Ink.
