Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Noel Christmas Card

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Noel Christmas Card

I am sharing another Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals card today.  It is amazing the different designs and looks each card that I have created using the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set has.  This one has a white poinsettia along with Heartwarming Hugs DSP as the background panel.

Inspiration is from Festive Friday’s challenge.  I am choosing red, green, ribbon.  I have a check not plaid.

The design inspiration is from the Paper Players Challenge.

My card base is Cherry Cobbler card stock with a Basic White card stock mat for the Heartwarming Hugs DSP.

To create the poinsettia, I stamped a panel of Basic White card stock with Versa Mark using an image from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set.  Next, I sprinkled Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder over the Versa Mark and heat embossed using the heat tool.  The three layers are put together using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to give the poinsettia more dimension.

Panels of Heartwarming Hugs DSP are cut and adhered over the Basic White mat.  Before the Basic White mat is adhered to the card base Silver Thread is wrapped around the middle of the panel to cover the place the DSPs are joined.

The poinsettia and twigs and sprigs are arranged with the Silver Thread and adhered to the DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots, and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (available January 2022) are popped in the center of the poinsettia and around the card front.

A sentiment from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink on the Basic White panel, holly leaves and berries from the same stamp set are stamped in Garden Green ink and Cherry Cobbler ink in the lower right corner.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Heartwarming Hugs DSP applied to the envelope flap using liquid glue.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are at the end of this post.
