Stampin Up! Pleasant Pheasants

Stampin Up! Pleasant Pheasants

Today is 9-11.  It has been 17 years since that fatal day happened.   Where were you when you learned of the tragedy? We must always remember that freedom is not free.  So many sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy daily.

My card is made using the Pleasant Pheasant, Around the Corner and Beautiful You Stamp sets.  Inspiration comes from the Inkpire Me Challenge #366.

  • My card base is Old Olive embossed using the Pine Plank Embossing folder with a mat from the Wood Texture DSP. 3” x 5”.
  • The mat for the art piece is a panel of Crumb Cake. 3-1/4” x 3-1/4”
  • The art piece is 3” x 3” and stamped using Memento Black Ink.
  • The art piece is colored using Stampin Up! Watercolor Pencils.
    • Colors are: Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Old Olive, and Bermuda Bay.
  • The Wood Texture DSP was popped on the embossed Old Olive card front using Stampin Dimensionals.
  • The Crumb cake matted art piece was popped onto the Wood Texture DSP.
  • A tiny bow was made with Linen Thread and attached to the corner of the art piece with a glue dot.
  • The greeting “Celebrate” was stamped using Versa Mark and White Embossing powder then heat set.

The inside sentiment was stamped in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock matted using Crumb Cake card stock. The sentiments are from Around the Corner and Beautiful You.
