Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air

Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air

Happy Sunday everyone, I hope your day has been restful and fantastic.  I had a busy day.  A baby shower for my grandson and his wife. Baby showers are so different today than when I was young.  Back then it was 10-12 ladies only and you had cookies, little sandwiches, and punch. Today’s was a spread with 100+ in attendance.  That many people are usually for weddings.

The card I am sharing today is created using images from many stamp sets.  I suppose you could say Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air is the primary set used.  I used Mountain Air, and Sailing Home current stamp sets.  Birthday Delivery is retired as is In The Meadow and Fable Friends, and High Tide but these stamp sets had the animals I need for my card so I am happy I still have them.

My inspiration for today’s card comes from the Crafty Animals Challenge.

I started with a panel of Basic White thick card stock stamping the mountains and trees from the Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Stamp Set.  The mountains are stamped in Smoky Slate ink and the tree are stamped in Garden Green ink. One of the sentiments is from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Stamp Set, the other is from the Fabled Friends Stamp Set.

The fox and banner from the Birthday Delivery Stamp Set are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Real Red, Dark Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Misty Moonlight, and the Color Lifter  Stampin’ Blends Marker.  The bunny from Fabled Friends is colored in Smoky Slate and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers. The birds from Stampin’ Up! High Tide Stamp Set are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.

The fawn that the banner is hiding its face and I did not notice until now and the card is gone so I can’t take another picture is from the Stampin’ Up! In The Meadow Stamp Set.  The squirrel is from the Fabled Friends Stamp Set. The portion that forms the double Z and has the fox and bunny popped on it, has been colored with the Blending Brushes using Shaded Spruce ink.  The clumps of grass are from the High Tide Stamp Set and are stamped in Old Olive ink.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!
