Stampin’ Up! Hues Happiness Thinking of You
The card I am sharing today is created using a skill we all learned in kindergarten, I know there are dies that fit these flowers and I would not have had to fussy cut, but the dies do not cut as close as I like. The only stamping is the greeting. I used the beautiful Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper (DSP) to create this card. Hues of Happiness is available for purchase today, as our new 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog goes live today. There is a new joining special that Stampin’ Up! is offering. You can see more detail near the bottom of this post.
My challenge for today is the Cardz 4 Galz — their theme is Think Pink.
I started with a card base of Smoky Slate card stock, adding a panel of Melon Mambo card stock as a mat for the Melon Mambo panel embossed using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
A Basic White doily is adhered to the embossed panel and a Basic White circle cropped using the Layering Circle Dies is added to the doily after a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the circle.
Flowers and leaves are fussy cut from a panel of Hues of Happiness DSP. The edges of the flowers are then sponged with a sponge dauber using Melon Mambo ink. They are then arranged around the Basic White circle and either glued using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or popped using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few sequins are arranged around the flowers but they were not in their package so no name, maybe a Paper Pumpkin but any embellishment of your choice can be used.
A panel of Basic White card stock gets flowers adhered in the right corner, then matted on a panel of Melon Mambo card stock and finally adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hues of Happiness applied to the envelope flap.
If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.
