Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace Christmas Card
The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set and the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper, and Holly Berry Dies.
My challenge today is with Never-Before-Used-Schtuff Challenge. My stamp set is a new one from the Stampin’ Up! 2022 July-December Mini Catalog.
I started with a Shaded Spruce card stock card base. A panel of Boughs of Holly DSP is matted onto a Basic White card stock mat and adhered to the Shaded Spruce card base.
I cropped from a piece of Basic White card stock a greeting label that has holly leaves as part of the label. I adhered the Basic White label to a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock and fussy cut around the label.
A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink onto the label. Greenery and holly berries are fussy cut from a panel of the Boughs of Holly DSP, these are arranged behind the label along with a length of gold ribbon. It is then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Five Rhinestone Basic Jewels are colored using a Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker. the jewels are popped around the label. Three of the jewels are arranged to give the appearance of holly berries.
A panel of Basic White card stock gets fussy cut poinsettias adhered to the top and lower right corner of the panel. A Merry Christmas from the Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set is stamped on the Basic White panel using Tuxedo Memento Black ink. The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Boughs of Holly DSP adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Something to give you a chuckle. I have had a rough two days, but this “young” person did something that “young” people my age should not do. Sunday, I made a visit to our storage building and decided I wanted to find my Stampin’ Up! bag with all my SU tools. It has been missing since July 2021 and I look for it each time I go to the storage, as I had to buy all new tools when we got moved and could not find it. It probably would not have been too bad if I had gone to the climate-controlled one but this one is probably 30 degrees hotter than the outside temperature. Well, I crawled and climbed around in there for 5 hours hunting it. My DIL found it and I told my grandson “take it down there”. He thought I meant the other storage down the alleyway. It’s hot also. I come home thinking he has put it in the Suburban only to find out today, that I am going to have to go climbing around in another storage to find it again. The result of all that climbing and crawling around is I can not move. My back is so bad. I know better but sometimes you just have to do what you know is not really a good idea. To make it worse, I can only have two Tylenol a day, so when do you decide the pain is worse and take your two Tylenol. I believe the only thing not in pain is my hair and there’s so little of it, that it can’t hurt. I know you are probably laughing with tears by this time visioning such a “young” person climbing around on boxes to the ceiling. 😅😎😁

This is so classic and so beautiful, Shirley! You do an amazing job of giving your recipients a complete gift by also festooning the inside and the envie! Thank you for sharing and inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
