Have you ever? Just be unable to come up with a card idea–that’s me today!  The card I created is created using Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey Designer Series Paper (DSP), Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Stamp Set, and Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set.

My inspiration design comes from the sketch by Debbie Foster of Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I hope you like my honeycomb banner.  It is a bit unusual!

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White with a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black mat.  The Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey DSP focal panel is matted using Whisper White card stock.

The banner is a strip of the honeycomb DSP from the Golden Honey DSP and matted on Basic Black and Real Red card stock.  A bee fussy cut from the DSP is popped on the honeycomb along with two tiny hearts of Real Red. The hearts used on this card is the inside of this or the negative part of the piece.

The heart framing the greeting from Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden is from Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies.  The “Love” is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink on the Whisper White card stock matted in Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock.  Two bees fussy cut from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey DSP are popped on the heart frame.  A tiny heart is used for the letter O in “Love”.  Several of the hearts are popped around the card front making them appear like flowers.  Stampin’ Up! Basic Rhinestone Jewels are colored using a Stampin’ Up! Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker and scattered around the card front.

The inside sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set and is stamped in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock that is matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock.  A large bee from the Golden Honey DSP is fussy cut and popped in the corner with a tiny heart.

In finishing my project for today, I gave a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope flap a panel of the Golden Honey DSP to match the card front.
